You decide it’s best to return to the cabin. Maybe there you’ll find another clue. You walk slowly – trying your hardest to stay utterly silent. You don’t know what that was that stalked you – but it sounded violent! You don’t want it to catch you now. As you emerge from the trees you stop dead in your tracks. You hear a cackle screeching by. You look around in fear but you can’t see a thing. You hear the cackle again as it whirls around you in darkness. Finally you look up. Sitting in the tree before you is a woman. She is dressed in black rags and her hair is long and grey. Her skin is diseased with warts and decayed flesh. Her eyes are yellow and pierce your heart. You realise at last – the woman is a forest witch!
