You finally decide to enter the dark and shadowed woods. The trees are denser here. The canopy of leaves blocks the light of the distant moon. For a moment you wonder what it’s like by day – a sight you hope to never see. You notice a white tree – thicker than the rest. It rises up above the others. You realise the view from atop must be spectacular.
