You hold the knife against the man – feeling his body tighten in fear. ‘Come no closer,’ you shout out, ‘or I’ll kill him!’ The team surrounds you, aiming their guns at your head. ‘Easy there,’ replies the man in charge, ‘lower your weapons boys!’ The rest of the men follow his orders and lower their rifles to their side. ‘Come in unit two,’ says a voice over the radio, ‘we have a second vampire sighted in Zone D, request you take it out.’ The man in charge ignores the request. He locks eyes on you, watching your every move. ‘Let him go,’ he says, ‘and if you do you’re free to go!’
