You look around but there’s nothing to see. The witch has disappeared into the night. Finally you give up and move off along your way. Suddenly the witch reappears, cackling out as she passes by! She seems totally insane but it’s clear that she’s powerful. You don’t want to anger her now! ‘A foe of mine lives in these woods,’ she says in an uncontrolled lament. She looks up into the sky and laughs, focusing in on the full moon. ‘Every night of the full moon he turns into a wolf. I unleashed this curse upon him and he chooses to hunt me. Now he must die! If you’re willing to fight for me I’ll help you escape these horrid woods!’
