You take a breath of forest air and savour the sensation in your nose. You pause for a moment – realising how attune your sense of smell has become. It’s as if you can taste the animal blood hidden between the forest trees. To the left, the smell of fresh flowers is intoxicating. In the other direction you can smell wild deer.
