You decide to leave his body. You are only new to the vampire world – you know too little to sire a human and can only imagine the responsibility involved. Suddenly you are attacked from behind. You fall to the ground. Looking up you see a strong man with thick black hair and fangs inside his vicious mouth. The attacker’s a vampire! ‘Who are you,’ you ask in wonder? He picks you up by your throat and squeezes you tightly. ‘I am the one who made you,’ he laughs, ‘which means you belong to me.’ He lets you go and drops you to the forest floor. That’s when you notice some wood by your feet. One piece is long and sharp.
