You notice a tree hidden in shadows and take your chance to hide. You press your back against the bark and close your eyes in trepidation. You stand in silence, listening to the sounds of the forest night. You hear ground crunching – slow, heavy steps. You hear the cold breath of your stalker – twisted and sick. You feel tense from deep within and your toes curl in fear. Your stalker moves closer to you – to the very tree you’re hiding behind. You hold your eyes shut. You wish you could just wake up! Suddenly you fall to your knees. The attacker has seen you and has pushed you down. You scramble to your feet and turn to see – there before you is a vampire! He’s strong and vicious, with sharp fangs and thick black hair. He looks upon you and smiles. Then he moves closer.
