Family Dinner [Punk Niall] Pt.2

// At the Restaurant //

When you got to the restaurant the waitress asked for your reservation.

"We're here with the (Y/L/N)'s." you say.

"Right this way." she says with a smile.

You and Niall followed hand-in-hand. When you reach the table your family just stared wide-eyed.

"Mom, Dad, Louis, this is Niall." you said nervously.

Your brother is the first to respond. He hugged you while glaring at Niall. He then shook Niall's hand then returned to his seat.  Your mom hugged both of you.

"It's nice to meet you Niall. I'm (Y/M/N) and this is (Y/D/N)." your mom says happily.

"Hello, Ma'am. Sir." Niall nodded his head at your father. You sat down and Niall followed. You grabbed Niall's hand under the table and he gave you a nervous smile.

"Hands on the table." your dad said sternly. And your mom glared at him.

"Oh, stop (Y/D/N). Can't you see that the poor boy's nervous enough. They were probably just holding hands." your mother scolded your father. 

The waiter came to the table to take the orders. When she left your mother spoke first, while your father and brother just glared and occasionally shared a comment with each other.

"So Niall, what are you studying?"

"Um...well I finished college last year so I'm studying under my father in his company so I can eventually take it over." Niall said nervously. 

"Oh, that's wonderful!" your mother chirped, she smiled and nodded at you.

"What are your intentions with my daughter?" your father questioned. Everyone was surprised by his question.

"Dad!" you said while your mother scolded him. 

"No, no it's alright. I understand. I love your daughter, sir. I want to protect her, care for her, and be there for her. I want to give her everything she wants. I want what she wants. She is my whole world, sir. You raised an amazing woman." Niall replied. 

Your mom had tears in her eyes, as did You. Your father's eyes softened slightly. You looked up at Niall to find him staring at you with a wide smile on his face.  You hugged him and whispered "I love you" into his neck. 

The waiter served your meals. After that it was all small chit-chat.  You finally left the restaurant. When you were in the car you let out a sigh of relief.  'that went well' you thought to yourself.

"Niall?" you asked.

"Yes love?" he responded.

"Did you really mean all of that earlier?" you asked.

"Of course" He paused. "you are my entire world (Y/N). I love you so much." you smiled before saying "I love you too."

Niall grabbed your hand with his free one. You turned your attention to the world passing by content with your life at the moment.
