Puppy Pt.1-Niall

You were walking around the mall because you were bored and Niall wasn't coming home until tomorrow. You left the mall and went back home. You made your way to the front door and you saw a box. Inside the box was a puppy. You hurried to unlock the door and set the bags inside. You put your hand inside the box for the puppy to smell. The dog nudged your hand then licked it. You pet the furry dog and picked it up.

When you picked it up you say a collar and a note at the bottom of the box. You let him down in the flat you share with Niall. After you close the door, you hear a loud crash. You run around the house looking for the dog, he was in the bath tub. You sigh and pick up the bottles if shampoo that fell on the floor.  You sit on the counter and watch him as he watches you. You look down at the note and the collar in your hand. You put the collar on him with ease and you see a tag engraved with 'Connor' dangling off.
You decide to read the note while he is content.

'I left Connor with you in hopes that you will take care of him. I am no longer able to care for him. Connor is 2 months old, fixed, family friendly, and has all of his shots. Please take good care of him. And please don't try to find me. You won't.'-L.R.

You look down at the sleeping puppy. You thought about Niall coming home tomorrow. You were worried about what he would say. You have talked about getting a dog but every time he says 'no'.

You sigh and say "I guess you need food and other stuff because I can't take you to a shelter...maybe if Niall says no Liam will take you."

Picking Connor up you head to the pet store. You walk into the pet store and head straight for the leashes.

"Can be of any assistance today?" A young girl chirped from behind you.

"Yes. I just got this little guy and I need everything. Food, bowls, toys. Oh and can I use this leash? I'll pay for it but he's heavy." you ask.

She laughs " of course and right this way." you follow her to a shelf. After you pick everything out she helps you to the register.

"One last thing do you know of any trainers?" you ask while paying. She hands you a list of places. You take your bags and put them in the car while Connor lays in the passenger seat. You get home and everything is settled. You were doing laundry and you heard the front door close.

"(Y/N)?"  you smiled.

"Niall?" you asked running to the door.

You see him and hug him. He kissed you.

"I thought you weren't supposed to be back until tomorrow?" you ask.

"Yeah but Simon gave us an extra day off so I- (Y/N) why is there a dog in the house?"
