Our Little 'Date'

Nightfall came and it was 5 when I got home. I had an hour to get ready before Seth came to go on our little, ‘date.’ I took a shower, got ready, put on a little make up, slipped on my shoes, and look at the clock, that said 5:51. Finished, just in time, with a little time to spare. I walked into Kiona’s room and saw her sleeping. Another Hunt to raise in this house. Who would’ve thought. I turn to my left and see Kola smiling and getting jittery. I gave him a confused look, turned around and saw Seth there. White button down shirt, jeans, shoes, hair a little messy but partly fixed, and roses in his hand. I looked at his face with those dreamy eyes, and beautiful smile. I couldn’t help but smile and blush a little. He walked towards me, gave me the flowers, and gave me a peck on the cheek.

Seth: Ready to go?

Me: Yeah, where are we going?

Seth: *smiles * it’s a surprise.

Me: but… okay.

We walked downstairs and I told my mom we were going out. Be safe honey. Don’t do anything you will regret. I love you and trust you. Good night my baby girl. My mom said in my head as we left the house. I turned around to see her at the window, smiling.

We were walking and walking until we hit the cliff.

Me: we are going cliff diving?

Seth: *chuckles *no, no. Our surprise is down there. *points down to the beach *

What I saw was four blankets set on the sand, a table right in the middle of it with chairs, with candles, flowers, plates and cups. I saw flower petals that were shaped into a heart. I couldn’t help but smile like a moron.

Me: that looks so beautiful Seth!

He reached out his hand and I grabbed it, as our fingers laced in together. We reached the table and we sat down. I looked out into the ocean and it looked so calm and peaceful. I turned back to look at Seth, who was staring straight at me. He snapped out of it, and said,

Seth: Dinner, is served.

While his hand was pointed out, Paul, Embry, Quil, Sam, and Jacob, came out in full suits and ties, with food in their hand. I couldn’t help but laugh, because every time I saw them, they were always shirtless. It was a good time to laugh at them anyways. I saw them roll their eyes and they set the food down on the table.

Me: that’s a lot of food…. They are expecting to eat with us, aren’t they?

They all nodded and I gestured them to dig in, which they did. We all had food and started to eat.

Me: so Seth, how much did you pay for them to do all of this?

Seth: *smiles * I didn’t. I asked Emily to make the food, and Emily made them do it for me.

You owe us man. Jacob mumbled while taking a bit of his food. I rolled my eyes and pretended I didn’t hear that. I started to smell something, not a vampire, but something that smelt really, ODD. I started smelling all around. It wasn’t far, that’s all I know. I then turned to the guys, and sniffed.

Me: Are you guys wearing cologne?

Them: yeah, why?

Me: oh, nothing. Smells nice.

NO IT DOESN’T. IT SMELLS LIKE SOME KIND OF WEIRD COLOGNE MIXED IN WITH DOGGY POO. I thought, and heard Sam and Jacob yell in front of everyone, HEY! I threw my hands in the air of surrender, I DIDN’T SAY IT. Thinking it is a whole different story!

We finally finished eating and me and Seth left for the guys to clean up.

Me: Where are we going now?

Seth: you’ll see!

We kept on walking. We finally reached the place. We walked all the way on top the mountain, to watch the moon. It was beautiful. We had conversations about our childhood, talking about ourselves, and had a few laughs. Seth really made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. No Kaya. It’s a play date. Don’t get caught up in the moment. HE IMPRINTED ALREADY. That thought ruined my mood so much. Then I became silent for awhile.

Seth: is something wrong Kai?

He asked with his eyes trying to bury deep into my eyes trying to figure out what’s wrong. ‘Nothing, nothing. I’m just really tired.’ I said. If only you knew Seth Clearwater.

I took out my phone and looked at the time, 10:30. We’ve been up here for almost 3 hours. We just sat there in silence, not as if it was uncomfortable, but relaxing.

---Seth’s POV---

We sat there, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. She started to lean on my shoulder, and started dozing off. ‘Let’s get you home Kaya.’ I said as I stood up. She tried to stand up but was a little sleepy. I decided to carry her home, bridal style. Her head leaned on my shoulder while I rested my head on her head until we reached her house. I walked up into her room and set her on her bed. I kissed her forehead and said good night. I turned around and she grabbed my wrist, ‘please sleep over’. I nodded, ‘I have patrol at 2 am. So I’ll stay until then.’ Right before I got onto her bed, Kola came in.

Kola: Can you tuck me in?

Kaya: yeah, I’ll be right there.

He walks out of the room and goes into his room. I see Kaya trying to get up but was too dizzy and tired.

Me: lay back down. I’ll tuck Kola into bed. I’ll be right back. I promise.

I kissed her forehead again, and went into Kola’s room. I started to tuck him in.

Kola: thank you Seth.

Me: I’ll always be here to tuck you in buddy.

Kola: no, for making my sister happy.

I smiled at him, as I watched him fall asleep in bed. He looked just like Kaya while he’s sleeping, peaceful. I make her happy, and hopefully today I made me forget all about her imprint, and made her fall in love with me. I wanted her to feel the gravitational pull I feel. I walked out of his room, into Kaya’s room and saw that she changed into PJs. I walked towards the side I slept on last night. I didn’t want to sleep, so I stayed up till 2 came around. I slowly got off her bed, walked to put on my shoes, went to her side of the bed, kissed her forehead, and whispered, ‘I love you Kaya Hunt, and I always will.’ I walked out of her house and went on patrol with Paul and Embry.
