It started such a long time ago. It was in early fall, September 15, exactly, on a warm Tuesday afternoon. That's when everything changed.
The way I saw him, alone in the forest, a veil seeming to cover his beautiful face, I knew that something was wrong.
But never in a thousand years would I have guessed that what was wrong with him, was something so dark and powerful. A darkness like that shouldn't be held by just one person, but yet...it was. He was hurt but wouldn't show it.
It was a mistake talking to him. I knew it was from the very moment I opened my mouth, but still, I didn't stop. Now, he and I are very much involved with one another, in ways I don't even understand.
I hold one connection to him, a promise that comes with a price. I have to help him, in order to save my kingdom.
