A few weeks pass, and Chris and Emily have lost so much sleep taking care of Parsley. We met Lily and Mike's little boy, Max, too. He has light brown hair like Lily, bluish-grey eyes like Mike, and Lily's innocent smile, as well.

We've been hanging out with them for a while, as we're all moms, except me and Emily are first-time, while this is Lily's third. She has a twelve year old girl, called Anastasia, and an eight year old boy, called Ricky.

I sit on the bed, slouched down against the headboard, just running my fingers over my belly, which now prevents me from seeing my feet.

"Are you okay, puppy?" Andrew walks in, shutting the door behind him quietly. "Yeah. It's been boring around here. I can't do anything, I can't go anywhere, without risking both our lives, and I can't see you as much..."

He walks over to the bed, putting both hands on the big mattress, and leaning down to my level, looking me in the eyes. "Do you quite understand what is happening?" he asks, smiling. "No? What do you mean?" I tilt my head to the side, like a confused dog, and I realize I probably do that a lot.

"Puppy," he grabs my hands, pulling me off the bed, and making me giggle. "We're going to have a baby. In a week. Seven days. 168 hours!" he lifts me up, spinning me around, and making me laugh. "A baby..!" he brings me down to his face, giving me a quick peck on the lips.

"I had no idea you wanted one so badly. I knew we would eventually, but..." I trail off, looking down and thinking. "Mikka," he lifts my chin up to look at him. "I have been stuck down here for a few centuries, with nobody to talk to, except Tara. Nobody to love, nobody who loves me, and just pure loneliness, all the time. I was withering away when I came up to the surface to see you, before we met. But if I was going to die, I was sure as hell you'd be worth it, if I got to see you." he says, and I say "aww" quietly.

"To finally meet you, and despite certain... 'issues'..." I raise an eyebrow, smiling. "and actually know that you have my baby inside of you," he motions to my belly, making me laugh at his childishness. "MY child; the thing that we created... Has it not occurred to you yet?" he asks, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, looking into my eyes.

Not occurred to me yet...has what not- Oh my god...

"There is life growing inside me." I blurt out, my face frozen into a poker face. "There it is. You get what I'm saying now?" he laughs, running his fingers down my arm, and locking fingers with mine. "Oh my god! It will be an actual human be- well, not human, but an actual thing in a week!" I gasp, jumping up and down.

"You're going to give it a concussion." he says, making me burst out laughing. He smiles, kissing my forehead, and walking up to the closet, grabbing a box from the top. I walk into the bathroom, to grab a drink, and I put the glass back down, turning my focus back to him.

"I wanted to give this to you." he says, walking back up to me, and handing me two little red boxes with white ribbon around them. "What are they?" I ask, looking up at him.

"Open one." he replies, smiling. I start to untie the ribbon on one, and he speaks up. "I made these one night, before we met. I was sitting on the edge of a cliff, staring up at the moon, and I was messing around with magic." he starts, and I take the lid off the box. I suddenly become very aware that we're in a bathroom, and the toilet is right next to me, making me want to laugh for some reason.

"Originally, I had made one for you, but I was messing around, and accidentally made two." he says, and I gaze in awe, pulling it out of the box. "But I think it will fit our little accident perfectly." he laughs, making me giggle too. I hold the leather strip of a necklace in the air, looking down at the shiny silver griffon that's sitting down, swaying side to side at the end of the strap.

"It's beautiful," I say, looking back up at him. "Is the other one the same?"

"Yeah. I was thinking, one for you, one for it." he smiles, looking down at my belly. "Oh! Wait...Griffon...Griffon..." I say to myself, testing it out. "What?" he asks, with a puzzled look on his face.

"Let's name the baby Griffon! It works for a girl or a boy." I say, looking back up at him. "Hmm, but maybe the traditional spelling for a boy, and 'y' for a girl. Like Griffyn." I say, putting emphasis on the 'y'.

"Yeah. That's adorable." he smiles. "Glad we finally decided."

"So, how come a griffon?" I ask, eyeing the careful details closely. "I don't know. It's my favorite animal." he shrugs, putting his hands on the sink behind him. "I just realized there's a toilet there." he laughs, looking over, and making me giggle. "Do you like it?" he asks, taking the other box from me, and placing it on the sink. "I love it." I smile. He takes the necklace and turns me around, pushing my hair away from my back, and connecting the leather strips behind me.

I smile, looking at it in the mirror, and noticing the toilet in the background again. "Damn. I feel like it's watching me..." I squint my eyes at the toilet, and Andrew laughs, wrapping an arm around me. "Now that I think about it, the toilet's been here for so many big moments..." he says, and I give him a puzzling look, laughing quietly.

"When we found out we were having 'it',"

"If we keep calling it 'it' we're going to forget it has a gender when 'it' is born." I laugh, using air-quotes.

"Anyway," he chuckles quietly. "There was that, there was our first shower together, when we found out Emily was pregnant too. There was our second kiss... What else..." he thinks.

"Ah, trusty toilet." I giggle, and pain aches through my belly from laughing so much.

"I need to ask you something..." he says, in a more serious tone than before. "What is it? Wait, really..? In the bathroom?" I laugh again, holding back a snort. He laughs and shakes his head, grabbing my hand and snapping his fingers, making us appear in some secluded park.

There's a fountain in the middle of concrete paths, wooden benches, and bushes. There are trees around, covering the whole place, and letting some light through, though most is directed at the top of the fountain, which has a griffon on top. There's nobody around for miles, and not a sound. The fountain has carvings on the edges, and there are rails along the edge of the path, where the fountain dips in, and the yellowish-orange bricks lead into the forest

"Andrew, what is it?" I ask, tilting my head like a puppy again. "You know you do that, right puppy?" he asks, making me punch him playfully.

"Okay, Okay. Only one way to do this." he lets go of my hand, pulling a box out of his pocket. "Wait, what are you-"

"Mikka," I bite my lip, as he hesitates, before getting down on one knee slowly. "Okay...how to do this like a human being..." he mutters to himself, making me giggle quietly.

"Mikka..." he opens the box, looking up at me, and I see it's a beautiful diamond ring. "Wi-" He stops abruptly, and thinks to himself for a second.

"Ahh, screw it! I'm not normal." he gets back up, and looks over to the right quickly. He clicks his fingers, making the toilet appear right before my eyes, and I burst into giggles.

"Marry me, baby?" he says, turning back to me, and holding his arms out. "Of course, you psycho!" I laugh, running into his arms, which he wraps around me, and he presses his lips against mine lightly. "I love you so much, weirdo." I giggle, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Good ol' toilet." he laughs, and I stare over at the one toilet, in the middle of the green forest. "I love you too." he smiles, chuckling and kissing my nose.
