Liv's POV

"Hello, hello, hello!" I hear from Lin's dressing room. I look and see Lin talking to his phone. I'm going to assume it's some live stream. Before I could leave he sees me and waves me in. "Liv! Come and say hi." I roll my eyes and smile while he makes a small introduction for me. Like people didn't already know who I am. +25,600 followers on each social media I have. (I just wanted to make that reference XD) I get into the shot and wave. I look and see millions of comments coming in at once. My head spins and I act like I'm dizzy and fall on the couch pretending to pass out.

Lin watches and laughs. "Wow that was very convincing until the end when you smiled." Lin said to me and I smiled even more. I wave bye as I walk out of the room. Lin and I are the only ones here. The stage was clear and Lin was up in his dressing room. Nice! I think to myself because I have the whole stage to my self. I put some music on from my phone and set it on the stage. I haven't done this in a while. Let's see how this goes. 

Lin's POV

By the time I get backstage for rehearsal pretty much everyone is there. They all look like they were hiding. "Wha-" I say but I'm cut off by a few 'shh' and a hand from Groff flying over my mouth. I listen and I hear music coming from the stage. I push my way to the front where Anthony to see what everyone is watching. He points on stage and I see Liv.....dancing. "Woah." I say to myself. She is incredible. For someone who just fully recovered from a bad accident she can really dance.

As the music comes to an end and she finishes her dance we all come out from backstage and clap for her. She jumped and turned around and looked down embarrassed. "That was amazing Liv. Why didn't you tell us you could dance." I say to her as she looks back up at us. she just shrug and signs something.  "Dude you cannot say that. That was really good. I can't even dance like that." Daveed says while some look confused and others nod who understand. I brush it off and look back at her. "Did you use to take dance and would you like to?" I ask her as she looks at me in awe. 

Liv signs something as I look at the people behind me for some kind of translation. "She says she had taken dance for like 2 years when she was 8 but she hasn't danced since." I look at her and she looks down. "Well would you like to start dance again?" I ask her but she shakes her head. By this time everyone had gone to their own dressing rooms except for Daveed, Anthony, and I. "Please will you think about it?" I ask her and she nods before running off to some other part of the theatre. "She's really talented Lin." Anthony says to me as he and Daveed leave to get ready. 

Liv's POV

After today I'm not sure if I ever want to dance again. That was so embarrassing. The best of the best on Broadway just saw me dancing. Welp I will never live that down. They seriously can't have thought that was even close to good. Lin even offered my dance lessons so I could get better. Dance lessons are for people who can't dance. My dancing days are officially over. But I love it so much. I just have to keep it under the radar. I run to the supply closet to grab some cookies. Hopefully Thayne won't care. 

TIMESKIP TO AFTER THE SHOW

Lin's POV

By the time Liv and I got home it was dinner and Vanessa was setting up. "You guys are just in time." V says and I kiss her. "Liv can you go get Seb and put him in his chair." Liv nods and makes his way out of the room. "V did you know Liv can dance?" I ask very excited about today. "Really!?!" V says just as excited as me. "Yes! She incredible." I say just as Liv makes her way back in with Sebastian. "HEY!" I hear the guys shout as they make there way into the house. "Hey guys. Just in time we are about to eat." I say as they all get into the kitchen. 

TIMESKIP TO AFTER

It was around 8:30 when we finished. We are all laughing and talking about stupid things. Sebastian had gone to bed but Liv was in her room. V was going through the mail while the guys and I were tlaking. The phone rings and Vanessa answers. "Lin!" She says while the guys settle down. "It's the adoption agencey. Olivia's mother is there.

" We put the phone on speaker. "Hi Mr. Miranda I would like to talk to you about Olivia." The lasy over the phone said. All the guys are standing by the phone at this time. "Yes. What do you need." I say hoping everything was okay? "Yes hi. So I would like to talk about the custody of Olivia. It says her father died but she her mother never gave up custody of her. She says she never met you and never gave you custody of her daughter. Is that correct?" She asked me as anger boiled inside me. I was also shocked. Her father died? 

"No. I went to court with my wife and I got my home checked to become a foster parent. I was given custody of her right after this had happened." I say ticked off that this women who had abandoned her daughter would try to take her away from me. Especially after everything she has done to her. "Well we have no record of her relinquishing her rights." I hear her say. "What are you saying." I say actually confused.

"I'm saying that Olivia is not your daughter adnd her mother wants her daughter back. So unless you are willing to take this to court Olivia need to be ready to go by tomorrow." She says as if she if annoyed with me.

"I'm afraid I can't do that. This would be too much for Olivia and too much going on with the press. I can't take this to court. I've already been to court once for her to be my foster daughter." I say just as annoyed as she is.
