I woke with a smile on my face, feeling immensely happy without a clue why. The last thing I could remember from last night was standing at the bar, watching Alec eating some chicks face. I knew I should have beeen royally pissed at him but for some reason I didn't really care. I stretched my body letting out a satisfied sigh and slowly climbed out of bed. After a quick trip to the bathroom, I skipped my way downstairs, loving the happy daze that had somehow consumed me. Humming to myself I waltzed into the kitchen, only to stop dead in my tracks when I spotted an unfamiliar, small, redheaded she wolf. Automatically my wolf went on the defensive as I let out a warning growl. However this didn't seem to faze her, as she just walked around the kitchen island holding a plate full of toast.

"Hey, doing the walk of shame too?" she asked giggling; pulling on the collar of the men's shirt she was wearing.

I pulled a puzzled face at her, not really understanding where she was going with this.

"Excuse me?" I asked putting my hands on my hips. "I'll have you know I live here thank you, I'm not some cheap bimbo who has one night stands with random men." I spat at her.

"But you have had one night stands, haven't you princess." I heard Carrie say from behind me as she walked into the room.

I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply somehow relaxing instantly. I watched as she walked over to the fruit bowl and picked out a banana with a smug smile on her face. Normally I would want to smack the hell out of her but now I looked back over at her and smiled, letting her comment go unnoticed.

"Come on girls play nice." Alec said as he walked past me, heading straight for the little redhead.

I watched in horror as he wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled her neck. Finally, I realised I had in fact seen this girl before. The fact she was wearing Alec's shirt should have been a big enough give away; I just didn't put two and two together.

"Oh god, you two are going to make me hurl. I'm out of here." Carrie said quickly rushing out of the kitchen.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy to see her leave but I wasn't enjoying the scene in front of me either. I cleared my throat hoping that they would remember they weren't alone. As the first attempt failed miserably I tried again, clearing my throat even louder. Thankfully this time I seemed to get their attention. Alec let go of her and turned to look at me, giving me a sheepish grin.

"Umm sorry about that Ray." He said scratching the back of his head.

There was something about the way he said it, that made me feel as though that wasn't the only thing he was apologising for. I gave him a small smile knowing I could never really stay mad at him; it's every wolf's dream to one day find their true mate. As much as it pained me to say, I was in fact happy for him. I watched in amazement as a massive smile spread across his little mates face. Passing the toast to Alec she jumped up and down excitedly.

"Oh my god, so you're Ray." She said charging at me and wrapping her arms tightly around me. "Alec has told me so much about you. I'm Helena, we're going be best friends I just know it!" she said pulling away from me slightly to look me in the face.

I looked over at Alec with pleading eyes.

"Come on babe let her breath." Alec said chuckling as he slowly made his way over to us.

"Wow you smell yummy, like strawberry crumble." Helena said as she took a step away from me.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You smell cinnamony." She replied.

"What, no I don't?" I replied, beyond confused.

"Yeah you do, your shirt smells like cinnamon." She said gesturing to my clothes.
