YOUR POV

"OOOOH! Can we go there?"

I point to a cafe down the street.

"I've always, wanted to visit that place!"

"Hmm? Okay, Jewel."

Orian and I, enter an amazing café.
I've seen so many cool reviews about it on Instagram that, It became one of my personal goals to go there one day.

"Everything here looks so antique! I love it!" I exclaim.

The the floor is made out of wood, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. There are hanging flowerpots, and other small ornaments and trinklets which decorate the café. There is a sense of magic in the air!

Orian asks a waiter to guide us to a table for 2.

We follow the waiter and I find myself seated at table number 3.

Another waiter comes up to us, and asks us what we would like to eat.

I order a lamb burger with fries along with, a strawberry milkshake to wash it all down. Orian orders some hot chocolate and a red velvet cake.

He seems to be enjoying himself.
I'm happy!

"Hey Jewel, you seem like a foodie," Orian casually says. "your face lit up just as our menus arrived!"

Orian's face is resting on his cupped hands whilst he talks to me.

Is that a bad thing?

I blush.

"I mean, I did have a food blog a long time ago but...I gave up on it." I say with a shrug.

"Why?"

Orian sits straighter and I cross my arms.

"Nobody ever read my blog. So, I just gave up."

What else could I do? If it doesn't sell, then it's not worth it.

"Just like that?"

Orian seems a bit baffled. He sounds as if he is accusing me for murder or maybe it's just my hungry stomach imaging things.

"Yes." I answer dryly while, looking away.

"Oh. Why don't you start it again?" he suggests. "I'll read it, and I bet Zoa will too."

It seems as if he really means it. There's determination in his voice.

His voice, it's nice to hear. Soft yet strong.

"Umm...okay, I'll see."

I shrug my shoulders.

Suddenly our orders arrive.

"Here you go ma'am your order...and this is for sir. If you need anything else, just ask."

Our waiter places down all our food on the table and gives us a small bow.
