YOUR POV

DAY 56

I feed Pixie and watch him slowly fall to sleep with a satisfied tummy afterwards.

The little fuzzball seems so content.

"I wish I could live a life like him!" I think to myself.

I get up, go to my bedroom and close the door shut.

I sit at my study table and spin around on my swivel chair.

It's only been a few days since, I've had Pixie but he's already been through a pair of my shoes, and frightened away my next door neighbor's cat!

"Ufh." I shake my head and laugh at the chain of events.

Speaking of events, Orian got his memory back.

I lean back, into the chair.

"Orian Tune..." I can't stop smiling. Finally my friend is alright.

I close my eyes and feel a warm glow on my skin. I know it's not the rays of sunlight seeping through my cotton curtains but rather, the warmth present in my heart.

I spin around more in my chair and laugh.

So much invisible weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

I feel good.

My chair abruptly stops. I look up and see a familiar face.

"Tune!" I say not so surprised.

I look over my shoulder and see that my door is, wide open. How, did I not notice that?

The boy sticks out his tongue and leans against a wall.

He was so excited about how his memories returned that he passed out yesterday. He slept on the my living room's couch last night. I would know because I carried him. My back still hurts.

My apartment is basically a second home to him now, if you think about it.

"What time is it...?" The boy suddenly asks. He rubs his eyes with the back of his his hand and yawns.

"It's one pm, sleepy head." I say.

"I'm not sleepy!"

"You so are! You literally slept half the day away!" I explain.

Orian yawns again and looks away.

"Don't judge meh." The boy shows me the hand.

I nod and raise an eyebrow.

"Anyways....what would you like for 'breakfast'?" I ask.

Orian runs his fingers through his hair and shrugs his shoulders.

"A cup of milk would be, fine by me. Later, we can go out have lunch. I'll pay."

"Cool!" I say and give a thumbs up. "We'll have a mini party to celebrate you getting your memory back!"
