"Fuck," muttered Jared as he neared the end of 'Catcher In the Rye' two days later. He was sat at the breakfast table with a spoonful of cheerios suspended halfway to his mouth and the book in one hand.
"What's up?" asked Cosmo cheerfully, drinking coke from the bottle even though it was 7.15 am. "Realise you were holding the book upside down?" Jared fixed him with a scathing look. "What, dude? I've done that before."
"Yeah, I'm sure you have," Jared said under his breath, just loud enough for Cosmo to hear. His brother just shrugged and turned to eat cold pizza from the fridge.
