I was shocked, and extremely weirded out, but mostly shocked. The pack, Nathan, Emily and I all sat in the kitchen and it was silent. Everything was awkward, they had felt what we were feeling. Although it wasn't anything romantic they knew of what had just happened.

I sat at the table, more focused on the pen I was playing with then anything else. I didn't want to be the one break the silence and it seemed nobody else wanted to either.

I glanced at Nathan and he caught my eye making me look away quickly and childishly, I was running away from the situation at hand. Nathan sighed and slouched further into his seat, "look, I don't . . . Like you like that, ok?" He told me but I didn't say anything, I didn't want to.

I may be acting like a child but this was weird, wouldn't you say? My "kid" just imprinted on me for God sakes.

Nathan sighed again, "I don't like you the way I probably should, that would be gross. You're like my mum, I would never want to be with you." He tried to explain, "there has to be an explanation for this." He looked up to Sam who stood beside him, none of us liked this one bit.

Sam's scowl deepened as he thought for a moment, "what about Billy? He should know about other tribes besides ours, right?" He asked no one in particular but I took it and quickly jumped out of my seat.

"Right then, I'm off to Billy's. Bye." I called as I ran out the door. I could hear everyone yelling at me to wait for them but I didn't and I made a bee line straight to the old man's house.

Once I arrived at my destination I saw Jake walk outside and towards me. I stood a few metres back and he crossed his arms with a frown on his face, "what are you doing here, Violet?" He asked.

"I need to see your father, is he home?" I didn't let him answer as I walked passed him and opened the door.

"Woah, Violet. What the hell." He calls after me while I make my way into his home. I stumble into the kitchen and find Billy reading the newspaper at the table, a cup of coffee sitting next to him which smelt disgusting in my opinion.

I sigh in relief and fall into the seat opposite from him, "Billy, I need your advice because something really weird happened and I'm sorta freaking out and I don't know what to do and-" I rambled before Billy decided to interrupt me.

"Explain, Violet. What has happened?" He calmly asked me as if this was all normal. Well this certainly wasn't normal for me.

"It's Nathan. He imprinted on me." I told him slowly with wide eyes, I couldn't believe what just came out of my mouth but it was true.

Jake walked into my view with a grimace, "what? Ew, what?" He repeated but Billy ignored his boy and looked straight at me.

"Nathan is a shapeshifter?" He couldn't believe it either, "I do not understand. I thought he was human, where did you say he came from?" He began to wheel himself over to the bookshelf on the other wall and look though it.

I shook my head, "I didn't, we haven't even spoken about it. I just realized I don't know him as well as I thought I did." I slouched into my seat with the sudden realization and ran a hand through my hair.

"But you read minds?" Billy reached up and grabbed a book that could have been centuries old. The cover had been worn out and ripped, the lettering of the title being rubbed away with years making it hard to figure out what the book was about.

"Well yes, but I don't want to use it. It's not like Edwards where I can never turn it off." I tried to explain but ultimately sounded like I had no idea of what I was talking about.

Billy nodded and wheeled back to the table, the book in his lap. I watched as he dropped it onto the table and saw the dust fly out from within it. I scrunched my nose at the old, musty smell of it but didn't say anything.

"Can you describe his form and anything else of interest for me?"

I thought for a moment, thinking of everything I saw in that small time. "Mm, he was like, maybe, a foot or so taller than any average shifter I've seen. He was pure white in color, blue eyes. Couldn't see any markings though I wasn't really thinking about that at the time." I shrugged hoping the man would be able to give me some sort of explanation to what was going on.

Billy looked through the pages carefully, reading each page for something. I frowned as he stopped on a page, I didn't see it but it must have been what he was looking for.

"I might be wrong but he could be apart of the Bluemoon Pride pack." He stated, glancing at me. "I've been researching this pack for quite a awhile."

"What does it say?"

"They once were powerful but ultimately were overthrown from their title of 'wolf royalty', as royal as wolves could get. They stood taller than average shifters and all were the color of snow." Billy sighed and snapped the book shut as he finished reading.

I gave Jake a look of confusion and he returned, it was clear he didn't know as much as his father did.

My frown deepened, "and you think Nathan could be a descendant?"

"Possibly." He nodded with a blank expression. He made out like I was overreacting, at least that's what it felt like.

I sighed and placed my elbows onto the table as a way to rest myself and my mind at the same time, "that doesn't explain why he would imprint on his adoptive mother."

I knew there was no explanation other then it was meant to be, yet I didn't want it, nor did Nathan. I had no romantic feelings towards him whatsoever so how could that be explained?

Billy shrugged, leaning back into his wheelchair. He gave a short cough before hopefully giving me the much needed answer to my question, "imprinting comes when least expected." Was his words of advice, though it helped nothing.

I sighed out of frustration and rested my head on the table. How could this be right? It shouldn't be.

"Although there is the fact that these certain wolves bond with the woman they choose as their mother. Which can feel as if they're imprinting." I was silent, my head stayed on the table as I thought over what he had just said.

I slowly raised my head to see a small smirk playing on Billy's face. I glared at the man and let out a huff of annoyance.

"Of course you would joke around in a moment like this." I scoffed, running a hand down my face. Billy chuckled at his sick game he had played. He just loves playing with my emotions.

The sound of loud footsteps towards the house and the door slammed open to show the Sam with the pack behind him.

"What did we miss?" Embry grins.

Authors Note
Hey everyone, what did you think of this chapter? Any good?
I've been waiting for the right time to turn Nathan for ages, he was sick for a long time in this story. I will be trying to get the Montelle sisters more into the story as I know they haven't been, I just need to figure everything out.

Now for a question:

Who do you think should be Nathan's real mate? Could be anyone at all.

Don't forget to vote, love you guys💙
