When I arrived back home, everyone engulfed me in a big hug
"You had me worried sick"
Eliza sobbed on your shoulder
"SHORT CAKE!!! You're alive!!!"
"Don't worry Y/N, I threw every sharp object I could find out of the window"
Alex exclaimed proudly
"You did what?!"
"I'll help you get them back grandma"
Lucia said as she and grandma walked back outside
"Oh...."
Alex said disappointed
"Don't worry Alex, you just tried to protect me. I appreciate it"
I said as I petted his head. He smiled and pushed everyone away from me
"I want a hug!"
He said as he wrapped his arms around me. I laughed and petted his back lightly. Then he got pushed out o the way by Angelica
"My turn now, Hamilton!"
She wrapped me in a strong hug as I happily hugged her back.
"Promise you won't do it again"
She whispered in my ear
"I promise"
She pulled away and smiled at me happily. Before I could process what was happening, she placed a soft kiss on my cheek.
"You have to take good care of yourself"
I looked at her and smiled.
"How about we try to forget this and go for a walk with Thor and Loki"
"Thor and Loki? Who are they?"
Alex asked confused
"You haven't met them? Those two big dogs walking around in our front yard? Well, I wouldn't really be surprised since grandma usually takes care of them"
"Speaking of grandma....."
John began
"She told me you and Lucia made music. She promised to let us hear a demo when we got home. Well, we are home now"
My eyes widened. I didn't really like showing our music to others beside my grandmother and Lucia's family. I never met those people of the studio in person, and they paid me for the demos, so that didn't really matter. I hesitated for a while but nodded.
"I'll turn on the speakers in the living room"
Peggy and Angelica squealed as they ran towards the couch and fell onto it. Eliza giggled and followed them. The boys eyes were just gleaming and their smiles almost came to their ears. I laughed at the sight
"Go take a seat"
I said as I gestured towards the living room. They immediately turned around and ran to the living room, sitting down in front of the couch. Just then Lucia and grandma walked in with a lot of knives
"Alex...."
I mumbled.
"Why is everyone sitting here?"
"Someone...."
I said, glaring at grandma, who smiled in response
"Told them that we would let them hear a demo of one of our songs"
