A/N: Oh, look at my cat's fluffy tail (pic in thing). I will post a full body pic next chapter. This is just for Ravenclaw_Hermione because she said that cat's tail's couldn't be fluffy. There, there is the fluffy tail. :p Remind me to give you a picture of him standing up with his tail flayed about.

His name is Musichetta, and I had saved his life. You probably saw me talking about him in other books if you had read them. <3 He is my baby, and he is going to be two this year. (As of 2020, he'll be turning three)

Now, onto the chapter.

The following week, I had been able to put on more muscle mass and build my confidence as well as my strength. There were still times when my confidence failed me, like trying to initiate a kiss with Xavier, but that was becoming far and few in between.

I was becoming faster than I had been and able to keep up with the running Wolves as we trained every morning. I have even surpassed them sometimes much to Derek's surprise and Zion's "disgust."

We were able to do longer distances about the fifth day of my training with them since Derek had decided to cut back on the miles we all were supposed to do. The reason why he did that was that I had decided to do what they were supposed to do and not what Derek wanted me to do. I was never a fan of handouts.

Besides training, I had been spending time with my cousins and my son and slowly integrating myself into the pack that I was a part of, and I made a couple of new friends that I could sort of trust.

Xavier would sometimes join me in talking with his pack members, but he was mainly working or doing other stuff. When he was with me, he would be by my side, and I knew that he was trying to let the pack know that I was his, even though he hadn't kissed me, yet.

The twins and Dr. Trent were still at the pack, but they would be leaving the pack on Sunday when we, the kids, Parker, Xavier, and I head back home.

Home... I stopped brushing my teeth as I was getting ready for bed and stared at myself in the mirror with wide eyes. Home. That was a weird concept for me to have, but this place became my home. Xavier became my home, the person that I could go to no matter where I was in this world.

"Cass?" Xavier asked from the bed we were sharing. Concern filled his voice, and I was sure it was because I had stopped brushing my teeth. "Are you ok?"

"Mmmhmm," I said, finishing brushing my teeth. I spat into the sink and wiped my mouth on the towel that I used. "Yes," I confirmed. "I was just thinking." I stuffed my toothbrush next to his.

"About?" he asked, as I walked into the bedroom. He was laying on the bed on his side, facing the bathroom as he waited for me to get into bed.

"Tomorrow," I replied, crawling into the bed and under the cover as he held them opened for me. I leaned my head on his shoulder and shifted until I was comfortable.

"We aren't training tomorrow," he said, causing me to open my mouth to say something. He gave me a pointed look, causing me to shut my mouth and scowl. "No one is training as part of the group."

I nodded my head, staying silent. I licked my lips and sighed, knowing that I was going to have to tell him what my uncle had texted me today. "My uncle wants me to look at your file..."

Xavier stiffened but didn't pull away. "Oh?" he asked, causing me to nod my head. "Why?"

I looked away and took his hand in mine. I placed my hand on his and looked at the size difference. "Because I didn't look at my ex's file, and it had lead me to become abused. He had said that there had been some warning signs in his files that I should have been aware of."
