CH 17 Talking about Annabel

Ch 17

Edna POV

I was chatting with my different family members. This was such a great idea to welcome the whole family to meet Annabel. She is really sweet and beautiful. I am glad my son finally met someone decent. I was so afraid that he will end up alone or be with someone totally wrong for him

"Ciao, Edna" (Hi, Edna)

"Ciao Susan, hai incontrato ancora Annabel" (Hi Susan, did you meet Annabel yet)

"Sì, lei è così bella .... Tutti parlano di quanto grande essa è. Ha anche curato la mia piccola Sophia come una ragazza grande. Sono così felice che ho avuto modo di incontrarla." (Yes she is so lovely.... Everyone is talking about how great she is. She even treated my little Sophia like a big girl. I am so glad I got to meet her)

"Anche a me. Ora che ha incontrato la famiglia prossima è inducendole sposato" (Me too. Now that she met the family next is getting them married)

"Mamma .... non stiamo ottenendo ancora sposati. Siamo stati solo incontri per un paio di mesi" (Mom....we are not getting married yet. We have only been dating for a couple of months)

I jumped

"Oh mio Dio Sammy. Mi hai spaventato. Dove hai ancora vieni" (Oh my gosh Sammy. You scared me. Where did you even come from")

Sammy POV

"Sono uscito dal campo di calcio e la mamma mi guardano con attenzione perché so che direte che non ho mai detto questo, ma non accennate nipoti o matrimonio con Annabel, fino a quando io sono pronto, va bene" ( I came from the soccer field and Mom look at me carefully because I know you will say that I never said this but don’t mention grandchildren or marriage to Annabel, until I am ready, okay)

"Non mi condiscendenza. Io sono vostra madre e posso dirle quello che mi desiderare . più quando si è pronti è destinata probabilmente ad essere un tempo lungo da ora" (Dont patronize me. I am your mother and I can tell her whatever I want. Plus when you are ready is probably going to be a long time from now)

" sì, abbiamo solo si frequentano da un paio di mesi . " (yes we only have been dating for a few months.)

" Non ho tempo per la vostra sciocchezze Sammy . Devo società di intrattenere " (I don't have time for your nonsense Sammy. I have company to entertain) and she walked away.

She is definitely not going to listen to me. Why do I bother?
