This is so sad. LITERALLY SO SAD. I can't believe this story is ending. I've loved writing these characters and this story for almost two years now, and now it's finally time for it to come to an end.
(Unless my dumbass decides to continue if Season 4 really inspires me that much. It wouldn't make sense with this storyline because I wanted this story to focus on teenagers hunting monsters — not 20 year olds lmao. But .......... we all know how chaotic I can be!!!!)
This story (as most of my fanfictions have done) got me through a pretty rough point in college, where I started to question if I should really pursue writing along with my art degree or just give it up and stick with just graphic design. Falling in love with this story and the characters I created reminded me that writing is something that I'm meant to do, and I'm so thankful that it was this story in particular that helped me realize that. (Despite how cringy Book I is 😭😭😭)
I liked Stranger Things from the start, but I never expected to like Steve, let alone write a fanfic for him. Never expected to create the Moreda family either, but here we are now. Veronica's decisions are loosely based off of my own thoughts when I was entering college in 2015. I wanted to stay seventeen forever, never wanted to grow up, until I realized I had to. I hope she was relatable to you guys as well, and that you enjoyed her story, as well as Edward's story. Oh, and her relationship with Steve was kinda soft too 🥺
So I guess to finish this whole ramble, I just want to say THANK YOU to all the readers for supporting this story for so many years. I still can't fathom the number of people who like this story, along with Wattpad recognizing this story all across the platform. I remember the freakish SCREAM I made when it made it to the Watty's 2018 Longlist JESUS CHRISTTTTT
Also a little short thank you to my besties lanceIot and bubbIesgum, who were the first two people that I talked about Seventeen to and practically YELLED at me to write it when I said Pedro Pascal would be the FC for the dad. Y'all are the real ones 💘
