"Deku!" Uraraka yelled while running to the sobbing boy on the beach. "I ran into Todoroki and he said you might need a friend." She said sadly as she saw the expressionless boy look up to her.

"I'm fine." He spat. He was never harsh towards her. She could tell he was clearly not okay. She calmly sat down next to him. "I said I'm fine." He groaned.

"No you're not. That's okay though. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.. but I am for you if you do." She smiled sadly. Midoriya wanted to cry. He was out of tears since that is practically all he had done since they got here. He sighed as he leaned his head on his shoulder.

"Todoroki and I broke up." He said simply. Uraraka wanted to say she was shocked, but she wasn't. She had a hunch when she saw Todoroki. He was a mess.

"Do you mind telling me why?"

"I couldn't make up my mind. My head and heart weren't on the same page. I like him.. I do. But I couldn't give myself to him. I don't know what I want." He sighed while sitting up straight. "It isn't fair to either of us to be in a relationship when I don't really know if I want it.. so he broke up with me. I understand completely. I'm not mad at him or anything. I'm mad at myself for not understanding how I feel." Midoriya spilled his heart to his best friend. It felt amazing to get it off his chest.

"It's okay to be confused Deku." She whispered. "If you don't mind me asking, why do you think your heart and head aren't on the same page?" She asked.

"Whenever we held hands or kissed, my heart hurt. My heart longs for something I can never have. I understand that. But it doesn't mean that it hurts any less." Uraraka was officially confused. It sounded like he was in love with someone else that he never had a chance with. She ran the class through her head. Nobody made sense until she landed on Bakugo.

"D-Deku? Are you in love with Bakugo?" She asked nervously. Midoriya sighed as he pulled out his phone. He scrolled through his gallery until he found the picture he was looking for. He gave her the phone.

"I don't know. I just know that I am not ready to give up." He shrugged while she looked at the photo. It was Bakugo and Midoriya at the age of four. Bakugo and Midoriya were side hugging with huge smiles plastered on their faces. Uraraka stared at the picture with wide eyes. "I know all you guys ever saw was him treating me like trash.. but that isn't who he is." Midoriya said while reaching for his phone. "He used to be the best thing in my life. I won't give up on him. I can't." Midoriya said with clenched fists.

"It's hard to believe you and Bakugo used to be such good friends." She said awkwardly.

"I know. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't believe my either." He said with a small smile.

"So what made him hate you so much?" She asked.

"I wish I knew." He replied. He kind of knew. The whole situation was confusing. He wasn't ready to share that information with anyone quite yet.

"Do you have a plan?" Uraraka asked.

"For Kaachan?"

"Yes."

"N-no. I haven't even thought about it." He replied sadly. He isn't telling her the full truth, so she doesn't understand. Him and Bakugo already kind of made up. Midoriya was really confused about the kiss. He didn't understand what possessed Bakugo to do that. He didn't understand what it meant.

"Hey guys!" Kirishima said while running up to the duo sitting on the beach, Bakugo practically on his heels. "Where's Todoroki?" He asked while glancing around. Midoriya only sighed in sadness as he pushed himself off the ground and forced himself to walk back towards the hotel.
