What is he?

Midoriya woke up to a heavy weight on his shoulder. He slowly opened his eyes, looking around the room. He saw the sleeping blonde snuggling up onto his neck. Midoriya only smiled at him. He slowly shifted himself out from under the blonde, hoping not to wake him. The freckled man slowly got up and headed for the kitchen. He quickly poured himself a glass of water, drinking it immediately. He glanced back over at the blonde. He smiled as he brought a hand up to feel his lips. Why was kissing him more satisfying than kissing Todoroki? Midoriya asked himself. He really did care for Todoroki. He is genuinely sad that they broke it off. He sighed in frustration as pulled out his phone.

Midoriya- Can you meet me at the house? Outback by the beach?

Midoriya sat his phone down, waiting for a reply. Five minutes went by. Then ten minutes went by. He was starting to give up hope as his phone vibrated.

Todoroki- I'll be there in a few.

Midoriya's heart began to ache as he felt guilty. He quietly slipped outside. He knew him and Todoroki were over. He was upset, but at the same time, he felt relieved. His heart and mind are always somewhere else. He knew in the end he would have only hurt him more. He wanted everyone to be happy, but that wasn't possible. He was happy being with Todoroki, but he wasn't at the same time. He was so confused and it made him mad. Was it because of Bakugo? Was Uraraka right? Was he actually in love with his best friend? Did Bakugo like him back? A million thoughts were running through his mind when he heard a voice.

"Hey." Todoroki said while walking up to Midoriya.

"Hey." Midoriya replied sadly while looking at Todoroki. He looked like he hadn't slept at all.

"You wanted to talk?"

"Y-yeah." Midoriya stuttered. "I wanted to say sorry. You were right. My mind was everywhere else but where if needed to be.." Midoriya said sadly as tears began to cloud his vision. "I'm sorry that I hurt you.. that was never my intention. All I wanted was for you to be happy. I am sorry that I messed that up." Midoriya says with guilt.

"Listen Midoriya.. all I want is for you to be happy. If you aren't happy with me, then that's okay." Todoroki mumbles while trying to hold back tears.

"I was happy with you Todoroki. You made me feel something!" Deku cried out. "You made me feel something when I couldn't! You made me happy!"

"I made you feel like you were worth something. There is a difference. I made you feel wanted and loved." Todoroki said sadly. "You are in love with the idea of being in love." Todoroki sighed. Midoriya looked up to the multi colored haired man in shock.

"I may be upset right now, but I promise I will be okay." Todoroki said with a small smile. "I should probably get back to the hotel. We are leaving in a little while, I should go gather my things." He said while turning his back to the sulking green haired man.

"Y-yeah." Midoriya replied. He still felt guilty. "W-wait!" Midoriya yelled while stepping towards him. Todoroki turned to face him, a bored expression on his face. "I need to tell you something else.." Midoriya's voice trailed off.

"That you like Bakugo?" Todoroki questioned. Midoriya's head snapped up as his green eyes met his multi colored ones.

"No." Midoriya mumbled. Was it really that obvious? "When we were talking.. I kissed someone else..." Midoriya said quietly while gripping onto his shorts. "Well.. more like they kissed me." Midoriya said while staring at the ground. "I am so sorry! I never meant for it to happen." Midoriya said in shame. He finally gathered the courage to look at Todoroki. Todoroki had a single tear falling down his face.

"I-" Todoroki couldn't finish his sentence. "I can't be mad at you."

"Yes you can.." Midoriya mumbled. "I deserve it."

"No, I can't. We weren't officially together." Todoroki said sadly. "Plus, you said they kissed you." Todoroki shrugged. "Seriously, it isn't a big deal. But I really appreciate you telling me." He said while walking away. He stopped suddenly, turning back to Midoriya.

"I think I already know the answer to this.. but who?" Todoroki asked. Midoriya stared at him, not sure of what to say. He can't tell him. Bakugo will kill him.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I can't tell you." Modirya said while looking to the ground. Todoroki looked at the young man, heart broken.

"It was me. I kissed the idiot. He didn't kiss me back or anything." Bakugo said, making his presence known. Todoroki looked to Bakugo, fire burning in his eyes. Midoriya looked up shocked. Before Midoriya could even process what was going on, Bakugo was stumbling back from being punched. Midoriya quickly shot up and ran between the two.

"D-don't!" He cried while looking back and forth between the two, hatred in both of their eyes. Everyone just stared back and forth at each other. "Please don't fight. I am tired of fighting. I have no more fight left in me." Midoriya said as he fell to the ground, exploding in tears. Bakugo and Todoroki both looked down to Midoriya in sadness.

"I'm sorry I punched you." Todoroki said with a plain expression on his face.

"I'm sorry I kissed him." Bakugo spat. "I don't know what came over me."

"Midoriya, get up." Todoroki said while offering his hand. He took it with a small smile, being pulled to his feet. "Now, before you threaten me, I promise I won't tell anyone. This stay between us three." Todoroki said to the duo.

"Deku. Go inside." Bakugo spat.

"K-Kaachan, T-Todoroki.." Midoriya mumbled.

"Midoriya, please go inside. We won't fight anymore." Todoroki said.

"Promise?" He asked.

"I promise." Todoroki replied with a sad smile. With that, both boys waited until Midoriya was closed inside.

"Look half and half." Bakugo mumbled while looking down. "I know you're not really mad that I kissed him. You're mad that I confused his feelings and made him hurt."

"Yes, I am. You had no right to do that." Todoroki spat. "But I am glad you did." He sighed. Bakugo looked at him in confusion. "Since you did that, he knows he doesn't want to be with me. Which saved us a bigger heartache in the end. But I need to know.. what is he to you?" Bakugo's eyes widened in shock. What was the green haired man to him? Was he his friend? Was he his enemy? His rival? Did he really have a crush on the kid he bullied for so long? A million thoughts ran through his mind before he decided.

"He's Deku." Bakugo spat. "He will always be Deku." Todoroki only chuckled in response.

"Well.. just don't break him anymore. He doesn't deserve that." Todoroki said while turning his back. "I will personally end you if he ends up worse than he already is. Take care of him." He said while walking away. Bakugo stared at the water, thinking about Midoriya. Take care of him? How can I take care of him? We aren't dating. We won't ever be. Not after everything I did to him. Bakugo sighs to himself before turning and making his way inside.

"Kaachan?" Midoriya mumbled in fear?

"What is it nerd?" He spat back.

"Everyone is leaving soon.. maybe we should go say goodbye." He said quietly.

"Tch." Was all Bakugo responded as he started slipping his shoes on.

Guys.. not going to lie, this chapter was kind of hard to write. I thought it out a million different ways, but this one worked the best. So this may not be my best chapter, but bare with me please😁
