"Come on Bakugo, we've been walking around the hospital for an hour." Kirishima whined. "You just got the cast off, maybe you should take it easy."

"Not a chance." Bakugo spat as he kept walking forward with the assistance of the walker.

"Why are you pushing yourself so hard?" Kirishima asked as they circled the fourth floor once more.

"Because." Bakugo spat.

"Because why dude? There has to be a reason." Bakugo groaned loudly as he looked to his best friend.

"Because Deku can't see me like this!" Bakugo spat angrily. Kirishima stared at the blonde dumbfounded.

"He's not going to care if you're a little weaker because your injured dude. He is going to care that you're okay." Kirishima said sadly while staring at Bakugo.

"It's not that you idiot." Bakugo grunted as stopped in the middle of the hallway. He shoved the walker in front of Kirishima. "It's because he is going to blame himself. He is going cry and say he should have saved me." Bakugo replied weakly as he took a step forward. "I refuse to let him cry over me anymore." Bakugo said as he took another step. "I refuse to let his smile leave his face again." Bakugo said as he took a few more steps.

Kirishima smiled at his friend with pride. In the last few months, Bakugo has become a completely different person right in front of his eyes. He wouldn't say it out loud in fear of getting punched, but he was proud of him. He learned to love and care about somebody.

"Bakugo!" A voice echo'd through the hallway. Both boys turned their head to see Ashido running towards them followed by Jiro, Kaminari, Iida and Uraraka. Ashido ran up to Bakugo and threw her arms around his neck, causing him to stumble back a few steps. Bakugo's eyes widened in shock.

'"Remember Kaachan, other people have feelings just like you and I do. You need to see the good in people and start thinking about things from their perspective. Life is never promised, don't let your last words to somebody be filled with hatred.'"

Bakugo smiled at the memory of the aquarium trip over their vacation. Bakugo slowly wrapped his arms around Ashido, embracing her in the hug. His actions shocked everyone, including himself. Ashido had tears running down her face as she embraced her friend. The quickly pulled away from each other with a small smile on their faces.

"If your giving out hugs, I'll take one too." Jiro replied while making her way to the blonde. Bakugo opened his arms immediately to embrace another friend. A few moments and a few hugs later, everyone looked to the blonde with smiles tugging on their faces. Bakugo turned back to Kirishima, stumbling on the turn.

"All right grandpa, take your walker." Kirishima joked as he pushed the walker in front of the blonde.

"Tch." Bakugo spat as he gripped the walker with hands.

"You know, he looks more like a grandma with the hospital gown on." Kaminari pointed out as Bakugo turned towards his room.

"Kirishima, will you punch him for me?" Bakugo asked with a smirk.

"Oh come on du- Ow!" Kaminari whined. The students were soon filled with laughter as Bakugo slowly made his way back to his room.

"He told me to!" Kirishima defended to Kaminari.

"There's going to be more where that one came from." Bakugo said as he entered his room.

"What for?" Kaminari whined.

"You said some things that really pissed me off when I was sleeping." Bakugo said as he sat down on his bed. The group looked up to him in shock.

"You could actually hear us?" Jiro questioned with wide eyes.

"Kind of." Bakugo replied. "I don't remember what anybody really said. I just know Kaminari and the Grape Bastard said some stuff that pissed me off." Bakugo explained as he leaned back in his bed. "I also know that Kirishima made my brain hurt a lot." He said while glaring towards the red head.

"I was probably talking out loud while doing my homework." Kirishima said while scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Do you remember anything else?" Uraraka questioned.

"I remember feeling really happy at times, then really sad at other times. Honestly, it was annoying." He said quietly. "It was like I was drowning and everybody else around me was breathing." He muttered quietly. Everyone turned their heads towards the door as a knock echo'd through the room.

"Hello again Bakugo." Dr. Tamaki said as he entered the room. "Here is your medication." He said as he handed him a small cup with about five small pills in it, followed by a cup of water. Bakugo groaned as he quickly swallowed the pills with his water. "I also need to change your bandages." He said as he grabbed more from the counter. "Which will be easier now that you can actually stand."

"Tch." Bakugo spat as he slowly stood from the bed. He slowly took his hospital gown off, revealing his bandaged stomach and chest.

"Do you want us to leave?" Iida questioned from his position on the floor.

"Up to you." Bakugo replied with a shrug. The doctor slowly unwrapped the bandages, revealing cuts and deep gashes across his entire chest. The students looked at him sadly as the doctor slowly wiped a disinfectant rag across his chest and stomach. They hadn't really seen the extent to his injuries yet, and now they wish they didn't.

Nobody could find the words to say as the doctor re-wrapped his chest. Everyone glanced to the door as it opened once more. Mitsuki walked in, silently glad that she missed the re-wrapping of the chest. She had seen it so many times already, and it killed her every damn time.

"All done." The doctor said as he handed the gown back to Bakugo. "Do you need anything?" He asked as he made his way towards the door.

"No." Bakugo spat.

"If you do, just hit your call button." The doctor said as he walked out the door. Bakugo looked to his mom as he put the gown back on.

"I just came to see if you needed company, but I can see you have plenty of that." She said with a smile. It warmed her heart to see so many people gathered around her son.

"I'm fine." Bakugo said coldly towards his mother, who only showed a small smile in return. Yes, Bakugo might be a hot head brat, but she was thankful to have her son back.

"I'll be on my way then." She said as she turned to walk out the door. "Call me if you need anything brat."

"Yeah, yeah." Bakugo said waving his mother out the door. Once she was gone, Bakugo stood from the bed.

"What are you doing?" Kirishima asked.

"Grab that stupid chair and come on." Bakugo groaned as he slowly made his way to the door.

"Where are we going?" Iida questioned as they followed him out the door.

"Where do you think glasses?" Bakugo replied as he walked to the room next door. Todoroki looked up from his position on the couch as the door burst open.

"Hey Todoroki!" Kaminari said with a goofy grin. "I didn't know you were here too."

"Oh yeah, after catching up with Bakugo a bit, I had to come back and keep an eye on Midoriya." Todoroki said as sat up, opening the other side of the couch for another seat.

"Thank you." Bakugo mumbled to Todoroki as he took the open seat next to Midoriya's sleeping figure. Todoroki didn't respond as the group of friends smiled at the blonde. They sat in Midoriya's room and filled Bakugo in on Tanaka's case and what was going on at the school until visiting hours were over. When everyone had left for the night, Bakugo laid his head on the bed, falling asleep with Midoriya's hand entangled with his.
