"girls! come on!" mom called, i placed my phone down and let a sigh out

"i just wanna nap" i mumbled standing up and throwing a hoodie over my head

"where we going?" tris asked

"across the road to meet the neighbours" mom replied

"and your going to meet them again" mom said, i shook my head and walked out of my room and down the stairs, ashton then tristan following

"finally" she mumbled opening the front door and walking outside, we followed her in a line and walked across the road

"can eden come round?" tristan asked

"no" mom replied

"because i said no" she said, i let out a laugh and we walked up the driveway

mom knocked on the door and we all stood around, me behind mom kinda, ashton on my right, tristan on my left

the door opened and mom had a huge smile on her face

"hi! i'm harley!" mom smiled

"we are from across the road" she added

"oh oh yep, i met the girls this morning" joanne smiled

"one second, let me get my kids" she added walking back into the house

"anyone else extremely nervous?" tristan mumbled

"and i'm back, this payton he's sixteen and joining the school tomorrow" she said walking back to the door, payton with her obviously

"hello, hayden's sixteen aswell" she nodded

"mom they know, we met this morning" i said

"oh right yep" she nodded

"and this is faith she's eighteen nearly nineteen" joanne said gently pushing faith forward

"ashton and tristan, ash is eighteen and tristan's seventeen" mom said

"hayden your sophia's friend right?" joanne asked

"mhm yep" i smiled

"poor thing" payton mumbled, i let out a laugh and looked down at the floor

"oh anyway, we made you a cake" mom smiled passing the cake to joanne

"aw thank you" she said

"it's okay" mom shrugged

"do you want to join us for dinner tomorrow?" she added, oh okay mom, slow down

"oh okay, six a good time?" mom asked

"okay okay, it was nice meeting you" mom smiled

"you too" she said, mom nodded and we all turned around and started walking home

"that was so awkward" i mumbled

"not as awkward as tomorrow will be" ashton said

"what day is it tomorrow?" i asked

"wednesday" tristan said

"it's wednesday it's mine and the girls date night except it's only me and sophia because olivia's got work and aaliyah and her brother are on lockdown" i shrugged

"that's great, sophia can come to ours for dinner than" mom smiled

"you'll be at the dinner hayd" she said
