"wait where are we going this isn't the way home" i mumbled stopping dead in my tracks

"why'd it take you that long to realise" payton laughed

"uh i don't know" i said

"we're going to the beach" he smiled

"ugh" i said

"i hate the beach" i said

"i know" he laughed

"then why are you taking me here" i replied

"because i like the beach" he smiled

"okay" i mumbled

he let out a laugh and we turned the corner, the beach wasn't far from aaliyah's house litreally round a corner and then another corner

"what do you think were missing?" i asked, we were still holding hands and i don't know i was just in a comfortable situation

"probably not much now maybe another fight" he shrugged

"did you see charlie and olivia?" he asked

"mhm" i mumbled

"if aaliyah ever finds out there goes our friend group" i said

"i mean sophia will take olivias side, jesse will take aaliyahs and we'll be stuck in the middle" i shrugged

"i could imagine that" he said

"it's happened before except you weren't here and jesse wasn't in love with aaliyah" i said

"two weeks before anyone spoke to each other again" i laughed

"let me guess sophia and aaliyah" he said

"yep" i nodded

"i remember sophia not shutting up about it" he laughed

"that period of time i got so close with tristan" i mumbled

"how'd you all make up in the end?" he asked

"i said i was fed up off it all" i shrugged

"jesse and olivia agreed but they took sides, i could never do that" i added

"i only take sides when i need to, so in that case, i didn't take any because they weren't reasonable, the argument was litreally over a shoe" i said

"but if olivia did sleep with charlie or even kissed him i think i would take liyah's side" i shrugged 

"that's like you with ashton or tristan it's weird" i said

"that would be weird" he laughed

"oh we're here" he said pulling my hand and walking faster down to the beach

"wait let me take my shoes off" i sighed letting go off his hand and untying the laces, i kicked the shoes off and put them to the side

he took my hand and gave me a smile, we walked down on the sand and down to the ocean

"for someone who hates the beach you seem like you like the beach" he said

"no i hate it but at night and with you it's a bit more bearable" i shrugged

"with me huh" he smirked pulling me closer to him

"you've got a big head" i replied

"yep okay" he laughed

"here" he said taking his hoodie off and passing it to me

"i'm not cold though" i said

"yes you are don't lie" he replied, it's true i was freezing

"fine" i mumbled grabbing the clothing and putting it on

"hmm a new one to add to the collection" i shrugged

"collection?" he asked

"oh yeh of your clothes" i smiled

"do i want to know what you've got of mine?" he said

"only a few tops and hoodies" i shrugged

"they come in handy when i'm cold" i nodded, he lightly laughed and wrapped his arms around my shoulder, holding me so close to him
