"pssssst hayden did you see the way mom was lost for words when she was speaking to graysun" tristan whispered-ish

"yes" i said

"what do you think happened?" ashton asked

"we're the only three around why are you whispering?" i replied, the guys were down stairs trying to get aaliyah and jesse up

"because" tristan said, still whispered

"oh why are we whispering?" she said

"that's what i asked" i nodded

"ahh you did" ashton said also nodding

"i recon she was just awkward like hugging your kids dads other kid has to be weird" i shrugged

"hmm true but i think it's more than that" tristan said

"why?" i asked

"i didn't mean to but i accidentally read mom and dads messages" she said

"i didn't mean to" i said taking the piss out of her, how do you accidentally read someone's messages

"i didn't mean to, i went on the ipad and like her messages are set up on there and i happened to be on it as the conversation started" she shrugged

"well don't be fucking shy trist what was said" ashton said

"oh right yeh" she nodded

"mom said have you seen how close they've got, we got to tell them soon and then dad was like no and then mom was like why not and he was like because i'm not ready and then mom was like not everything's about you, these are our kids we're lying to and then i got scared and threw it across my room" she said

"thank fuck it didn't break" she added

"not everything's about you, that's such a hayden saying" ashton nodded

"it really is" i said

"what's that suppose to mean though" ashton shrugged

"to be honest, i don't care, he's gone i'm happier" i said

"of course" tristan scoffed

"you go kiss your boyfriend well become detectives and figure it out" ashton said

"fine by me" i shrugged making my way over to the basement door

"i don't know what reply i was expecting but i wasn't expecting that one" she nodded, i shook my head and made my way down the stairs

"hey" aaliyah smiled

"yo" i replied

"mom wants me home" she nodded

"oh alright" i replied

"want me to get my mom to give you a lift?" i asked

"nah i'm good, livs going to take me" she nodded

"okay okay, message me" i said pulling her into a hug

"sure, loves you" she smiled kissing my cheek

"loves you too" i laughed kissing her cheek and pulling away from the hug

"loves you jess" payton smirked sending him a imaginary kiss

"loves you too payton" jesse laughed doing the same

"weirdos" i laughed walking over and sitting besides payton

"that's literally what you and liyah just did" jesse said

"okay shes my girlfriend" i replied

"yeh" aaliyah said grabbing her bag and phone from the floor

"huh what am i then" payton replied

"my side hoe duh" i said

"yeh duh bitch" aaliyah said, i gave her a look and her and liv walked up the stairs

"i'll be back in like five" liv nodded

"sure see you in a bit" i said

"in a bit" she said walking into the living room

i got up off of the bed and walked to the other side, i sat on the pillows and payton sat besides me, he laid his head on my chest and cuddled into my side, i gently grabbed stands of his hair looping my finger around it

"jess could you believe that's our emotional unstable friend" sophia whispered over to jesse

"i'm shocked, i've never seen her like this" he replied

"shhhhhh" i mumbled

"dang there going to sleep leaving us two to talk" sophia sighed

"no i don't wanna speak to you, i'm going to find ashton" jesse smiled walking up the stairs

"fine i'll come with you" she said following

"you okay princess?" payton mumbled looking up at me

"yeh" i replied

"tristan said something about my mom and dad and i can't stop thinking about it" i added

"i have a feelings about something but i'm not sure" i said

"does it involve graysun?" he asked

"mhm" i mumbled

"okay bubs, you wanna nap?" he said

"oh yes" i replied, he let out a laugh and wrapped his arms around my waist, his head was still on my chest and my fingers were still knitted into his hair

"night princess" he mumbled

"night bubby" i giggled
