"hayden! sophia's here!" mom called, i had not long got home it must have been around ten to twelve, today wasn't that bad actually.
"howdy" she smiled walking into my room
"hey" i replied, she sat down on my bed and crossed her legs
"so, basically, it was like half six in the morning and like i'm asleep like any normal person" she started
"uh yeh i was awake" i nodded
"like i said, any normal person" she repeated
"of course" i mumbled
"but anywhore i wake up and was like hello and he was like hi, he was buzzed off of red bull or coffee or something" she said
"probably red bull, i gave him like seven cans the other day" i nodded
"damn okay" she mumbled
"but again, anywhore i was like what's up and he was like i'm stuck and i was like how and he was like i have this huge huge gigantic crush on this girl" she added
"and i was like oh what's her name cause i thought he was on about you turns out he wasn't, like i said her names lily and he was like uh uh uh lily and my soul was crushed but yeh anyway i was like what's the situation with you two and and and there really good friends and there like there good friends, he knows everything about her" she said, pausing for a breath
"like he thinks she likes him back but this is payton, he over thinks so much" she mumbled
"i didn't know that" i said
"you do now but, yeh i can read payton so easily, he's my cousin there's like three months inbetween us hes my childhood best friends yes, so i was fully convinced he had a crush on you" she said
"but this lily bitch" she scoffed
"where she from?" i asked
"canada" she said
"they have nicknames for each other, they litreally tell each other they love each other oh oh oh but then yeh he was like i have so much less chance and i was like how and he was like she's bisexual and i was like okay that's definitely not hayden now" she added
"but payton said she doesn't do labels so don't call her bisexual, he gets defensive" she said
"phia" i mumbled
"yes?" she asked
"that sounds like me" i laughed
"what do you mean?" she replied
"like, you just described our friendship" i shrugged
"except i don't live in canada and my names not lily" i said
"you're bi?" she asked
"i mean i don't label it" i nodded
"and he knows that?" she said
"mhm" i said
"no way" she smiled
"what?" i asked
"he's talking about you" she said
"sure mate, i live in north carolina and my names hayden" i laughed
"oh" she mumbled
"oh and she's older than him" she added
"exactly, we're born on the same day, we're the same age" i shrugged
"when were you born?" she asked
"uh twenty eighth of july" i said in a duh tone
"well i know that" she scoffed
"what time?" she said
"uh nine fifty two am" i said
"how do you know that" she asked
"i don't i made it up loser" i said
"he is always on his phone lately aswell" i nodded
"but he told me he kinda of liked you" she pouted
"maybe he thought he did, i mean i thought i liked jesse once" i laughed
"wait when?" she said
"uh around three months ago" i mumbled
"glad you didn't" she nodded
"same" i replied
