"mom?" i called walking into the living room, shutting the basement door
"yes darling?" she asked, i put the box down on the couch and walked into the kitchen
"what's up?" she said looking over at me
"bubbles" i said, i was so scared like for real
"bubbles?" she asked
"yeh my imaginary friend" i nodded, her face dropped and she looked down at the food she was preparing
"wha-what about him?" she asked
"you always said we'll meet again one day and well we did" i shrugged
"the box" she sighed
"liyah found it, i was suspicious from before that though" i said
"gray rung me yesterday, he found adoption and court papers, the girls noticed how weird you were acting when he left" i added
"tristan sore messages between you and dad" i said, she let out a sigh and pushed the food to the side, walking straight past me and into the living room
"tristan! ashton!" she called
"sit" she said pointing to the couch, i gave her a nod and sat down, i placed the box on my lap and looked threw the baby books. only mine and grays where here
"yes mom?" ashton asked
"come down here!" she replied, the girls both came running down the stairs and sat opposite me
"what's up?" ash asked
"uh first off i'm going to say this wasn't my fault" she said
"what?" tristan asked
"you're dad he uhm he was the one to start it, i tried to stop but i couldn't" she said
"mom what are you going on about?" ashton asked
"but i got you three" she nodded
"graysun" she mumbled
"he's your brother" she added
"well i know that" tristan said
"real brother, i'm he's mom" she replied, looking over at the two, they were speechless
"don't speak let me talk" she said before the girls could say anything
"your dad always wanted a boy" she started
"i found out about lisa and i wanted a divorce, we got a divorce, i then got the job out here so i said i was moving i planned on taking you all with me, but your dad, he wanted a boy and well morgan wasn't a boy" she nodded
"he took me to court, he tried to take hayden but i couldn't have that" she added
"me?" i asked
"he won gray, i won you guys" she sighed
"mom i don't understand" tristan said
"what's not to understand?" ashton asked
"i'm guessing lisa adopted him" mom said
"mhm" i nodded
"you knew?" tristan asked
"only just, i found the box" i said
"the baby photos when you looked at them with payton the random boy was gray" i nodded
"the extra birth certificate, it's grays" i added, picking the bit of paper and flapping it around
"he found the adoption papers and court papers and rang me" i said
"oh" tristan mumbled
"why-why didn't you tell us?" ashton asked
"him and hayden where so close, i couldn't tell her" she said
"it would have broke her" she added
"explains a lot" tristan said
"the messages you saw about telling us something, this was it i'm guessing" i nodded
"yep" mom replied
"how did you just sit and watch while he was here?" i asked
"hayd, don't cry" she said looking over at me, i gave her a confused look and wiped my eyes, oh i was crying
"i didn't realise" i laughed
"so much is clicking in my head" tristan said
"bubbles, he was gray" ashton laughed looking over at me
"figured that out" i nodded
"he told me he was booking a flight" i said
"really?" mom asked
"mhm yeh" i nodded, she gave me a look and pulled me into a hug, the two girls ran over and joined in
"i wanna look threw this" mom said grabbing this box
"i'm joining" tristan smiled
"i would but i have a basement to clean" i said escaping the hug and walking over to the basement door
"of course" ashton said
"you know i kissed my boyfriend while being a detective and figuring all this out" i nodded looking over at the girls, ashton rolled her eyes and looked over at mom
"it's because you watch to much criminal minds and brooklyn nine nine" ashton said
"that, that is true" i nodded
"and stop rubbing in the fact you have a boyfriend!" tristan said
"well maybe if you admitted to yourself you liked ethan you could rub it in that you have a boyfriend" i shrugged, she gave me the middle finger and sat down
"you saying you have a boyfriend is weird to here" mom laughed
"i know it's like weird" ashton said
"mhm bye loves y'all" i smiled opening the door and walking down the stairs
