"thank you" i said getting into olivia's car

"you're more than welcome" she replied driving off

"what happened?" she asked

"only tell me what your comfortable telling me" she added

"well earlier when i woke up i walked upstairs to the living room and mom said she loved me then had to take a call, that was very sketchy but i ignored it, i went upstairs and payton and tristan were in my room, we spoke for a bit then payton went home and i just stayed in my room" i started

"mom called me and the girls down for dinner and made me make the table which was even sketchier because we never set the table or unless we have guests over or she has to tell us something, so i went and questioned her and then i guessed that my dad was here from the whole atmosphere and well he was, he was coming for dinner with my siblings" i said

"siblings?" she asked

"morgan and graysun, they're not my moms" i nodded

"he was living a double life, he had a girlfriend while he was married to my mom" i said

"we didn't find out till i was three" i shrugged

"i never understood everything but i do now and i hate talking about it" i finished

"wow okay hayden i never expected that" she said

"why'd you call me?" she added

"sophia's got her own daddy issues, aaliyah just wouldn't understand and i mean jesse doesn't know" i shrugged

"and you lived the closest except from payton but i didn't feel like ranting to him" i said

"i'm sorry" she mumbled

"how do you remember him from when you were three?" she asked

"i was young, he was my dad i wanted him in my life and even though we moved out here i tried everything, i messaged him, rang him, everything he just never answered" i shrugged

"how long for?" she mumbled

"seven years" i replied, her eyes widened and she looked up to me

"oh god" he said

"and i'm just so confused, why has he only decide to bother now?" i said

"maybe because ashton, she's going to college soon" she suggested

"maybe" i mumbled

"wanna go on a drive? take your mind of it?" she asked

"sure" i replied she nodded and looked back to the road ahead

"i'm sorry we've never been close" i mumbled

"it's just the way it's been" she shrugged

"i know but i've kinda been pushing everyone away since paytons come around" i said

"it's because he's payton, he's someone new maybe you need something new" she replied

"they way you two are, they way you open up with him, girl you've known him two weeks and you've come out of your shell so much" she smiled

"i love seeing it" she said

"i've known you four years and i have never once seen you share a look with a boy let alone a bed" she added

"you've never been the way you are with payton with jesse" she said

"i don't understand, it's weird" i replied

"it'll make sense one day" she smiled
