"it's okay" mom replied, this was painfully awkward
me and payton where in the backseat, my head laid on his chest, like usual
"how-uh how's milo?" i asked
"he's alright, he looks like lisa" he nodded
"you don't call her mom?" mom asked
"she's not my mom" he shrugged
"she never loved me like she should love a son" he added
"i always felt like there was something different" he nodded
"i wished i wasn't part of that family for so long" he said
"i'm sorry" mom sighed
"it's not your fault" he replied
"it is, i should have stayed in canada" she mumbled
"uh no" i said
"at the end of the day it's no ones fault and it's also in the past there's nothing we can do about it now" i shrugged
"did i hear that right?" mom asked
"yeh" i nodded
"you really have changed her" she laughed looking at me and payton threw the mirror
"oh yay now i can be scary over protective big brother" graysun smiled
"sure you can bud" i replied
"hurt her and i'll hurt you so much harder" gray smiled looking back at payton
"i'm not going to hurt her" payton lightly laughed, gently rubbing my back
"he's heard sophia's threats, i don't think he's scared of you" i replied
"he should be" he smirked
"i've also heard sophia threats i'm scared of her, i am" he added
"we lived together when we were about five/six mentally i've not been okay since then" payton said
"wait i didn't know that" i replied looking up at him
"yeh she moved in for like half a year" he nodded
"and i still didn't meet you before now huh" i mumbled
"it's weird" he gently said, still rubbing my back
"i'm so tired" i laughed
"when are you not" mom replied
"true" i said
"we've got like a good forty five minutes until we're home" gray said
"ugh" i sighed
"i can't wait to see savannah again" he smiled

"she's my favourite" payton nodded
"we know sophia's your favourite" i replied looking up at him, he gave me a look and let out a laugh
"sure okay hayd" he said
"you act as if you don't like her but i know you've got a brother like sister bond" i smiled, he once again gave me a look and kissed my forehead
"you've actually got a brother like sister bond with aaliyah and liv aswell" i said
"jesse ehh you don't like him but you do, you obviously prefer the girls more than him" i nodded
"true" he mumbled
"no one really likes jesse i'm guessing" graysun said
"we like him he's just kinda a dick" i replied
"but he's good he's alright" i added
"he couldn't handle hayden's mood swings" mom said
"there not even that bad" payton said
"yeh well she's not the easiest person to get close with" she replied
"i done pretty well with payton and gray" i replied
"true she did" payton said
"yeh well look at you now" she smiled
"all loved up" graysun teased
"i'm going to sleep, wake me up when we're home" i pouted while cuddling further into payton
"night hayd" mom chuckled
"yeh g'dnight" i mumbled
"night buba" payton gently laughed, quickly pecking my forehead
