"Come here, Molly! Good girl!" Savannah cooed as the cavoodle jumped up next to her on the couch and snuggled up into her lap.
"I can't believe she likes you more than me now." Nick grumbled, falling into the spot beside her.
Savannah grinned, leaning over to peck his cheek, "You're the one who came up with the idea to live together."
"I thought I would get you all to myself, but she keeps stealing you from me." Nick rolled his eyes but Savannah could see the slight smile playing on his lips.
"Aww, I still love you, Nicky!" Savannah laughed before turning back to pat Molly, "I just love this little baby more."
"I hate you."
"You love me."
Nick sighed, "Unfortunately."
Savannah leaned closer to him and pecked his nose before whispering, "Smile for me?"
Without having to think twice, Nick's lips pulled up into an automatic smile, showcasing the two dimples in his cheeks. Savannah grinned as well, leaning forward to kiss his smiling lips. "Thank you. Now be quiet and watch the movie with me."
