Nya's POV

I'm currently laying in the middle of the woods, watching the clouds pass by. Weather Control had ended, and as far as I'm concerned, things weren't looking good for Jay.

"Hey, mind if I join?"

I don't bother to see who's hovering over me, I can already tell, "Don't you have class, Lloyd?"

"Well-" He stops to lay down beside me, "-I thought I did, but it's a free period. Went to the dorms, and checked your timetable too. You're also on free period."

"Stalker." I murmur.

"Hey!" He playfully whacks my abdomen and I let out a giggle. We stare at the sky aimlessly, until I break the silence, "Lloyd....have we been drifting apart recently?"

"I...as much as I hate to admit it, yeah. We've certainly been drifting." He states quietly, "I hate it."

"Same..." My voice echoes. He suddenly points at a cloud in the sky, "That looks like a heart."

I raise my arm and point to another cloud, "That looks like you."

"That looks like you!"

We burst out laughing, "It's peaceful. The clouds are pretty."

"You're prettier." He responded. I turn my head, and he does too, at the same time. Our noses were almost touching, and I noticed him staring at my lips. He slowly leaned in.

Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no-

I sit up abruptly and get to my feet, "I just remembered, I have to...get some books for my next class!"

"Want me to come?" He asked, as he stood up too.

"NO!" I squeak. He stares at me for a long time, a confused expression on his face, before leaning down and kissing the top of my head, "Alright. Don't do anything stupid."

"Come on, Lloyd, when have I ever done anything stupid?!"

He raised an eyebrow at me, "Remember that time you punched a guy for getting chicken wings messed up with chicken strips?"

"That was ages ago!"

"Actually 4 months ago."

"I'm a changed person, now!"

"You went to the bank in your pyjamas!"

"Desperate times call for desperate measures! See you later, Blondie!"

"Love you too, Midget!" I sprint off, my face burning bright red. I think I played that off pretty well...right?

Lloyd's POV

Cole was waiting by the door as I headed back to the building, smiling hopefully, "Well? Did you do it?"

"She panicked and ran off." I muttered, kicking a small rock, "Do you think I've made it awkward now?"

"Well...if she stays over at Skylor's tonight, you'll have gotten your answer." He pats my shoulder, "Let's go. The Royal Family are coming soon."

I groan in annoyance. Harumi Jade is one of the most stuck-up, spoilt princesses I have ever seen.

As we set foot into the school, Dad pulled me over, "Is your dorm clean?"

I roll my eyes, "Dad, last time I checked, we're not hosting it in the dorms." His grip on my shoulders grew tighter, "I'm serious, Lloyd. If they find out-"

"They won't." I state, "I promise."

I head up to the dorms and see that Nya isn't there yet. Taking this opportunity, I make my bed, and fold up some laundry, stacking my books on the windowsill. Nya's side is neat and tidy, as usual.

Kai swings by, peeking his head around the open door, knocking, "They're here! Let's go!"

"Coming!" I meet up with him and we head downstairs where Mr and Mrs Jade were waiting, with the devil herself. Harumi Jade stood boldly, her face twisted into a smirk.

"This is just a casual check up." Mrs Jade informs my uncle, who nodded, "Of course. Feel free to look around."

3rd Person POV

Harumi ascended the stairs to the second floor, carefully so that her dress wouldn't crease. Wandering through the corridors, she stopped and peeked into one of the open rooms; Skylor and Pixal's. Something catches her eye, and she smirks as she heads inside, picking up the book that lay open on Pixal's bed.

"What do you think you're doing?" She yelped and whipped around to see Pixal leaning against the doorframe, frowning at her.

Harumi held up the book, "Why do you have this? Elemental powers are illegal, you know." Pixal marched in and swiped the book out of the princess' hands, "It's history. It lets us know about our ancestors, and how their lives were when they had someone to rely on during attacks, and war; the Elemental Masters- which thanks to your family- are now gone."

Narrowing her eyes, Harumi scowled, "They were a threat to our society. You should be thanking us for getting rid of them."

"Thanking you? Ninjago City is defenceless, you made all of them go into hiding, and they can't save the city, because if they do, you'll have them arrested."

"For the good of the people!"

"No! For the good of you! You guys are scared of them, intimidated by them! You're brainwashing these people by making them believe you're the heroes!"

"Because we are!"

"Are you, though? Or are you just power-hungry freaks who want control over everything?"

"You're just jealous because I'm more privileged than you!"

"You say 'privileged', I say 'spoiled!' What about 'selfish' or 'rude', maybe 'obnoxious', or 'narcissistic little girl who uses daddy's credit card to get what she wants, and goes running back to her babysitter when she doesn't want to get her hands dirty!'"

"Is everything okay in here?" Zane asked, peering into the room. Pixal nodded, and put the book on the shelf, before taking Zane's hand, "Yes, everything's well. Let's go."

They both went downstairs, leaving a stunned Harumi. Her shocked face slowly twisted into a glare. I'm not spoiled! I'm just lucky! It's not my fault she's jealous!

Clenching her fists, she headed downstairs, back to her parents.
