No you refused to go check to see what or who that was. You've seen enough episodes of Criminal Minds to know how that would've ended. Instead you stayed in your room and locked the door.
"Ah, safe and sound." And for extra measures you went on your bed. Under the covers.
You closed your eyes, peacefully dozing to sleep. But before your eyes closed you saw a shadow move in your closet. This was strange because you hadn't put any clothes or items in there yet from the move.
You couldn't run our even scream due to being paralyzed in extreme fear. Couldn't even cry as much as you wanted to. All ounces of emotion left your body, you felt numb as you saw more and more movement in your closet.
Eyes clamped shut so tight you saw stars as you hoped, prayed even, that this was all some sick dream. It wasn't.
The police found (what was left of) your body on your bed with approximately 39 stab wounds.
