The palace garden was decorated with flowers and sparkling mirror strings.The place was buzzing with people specially the girls were busy running here and there standing in queue for their turn to apply mahendi on their hands.
Our bride was sitting on a soft mattress under a veil of flowers and two mahendi artists were applying mahendi on her both hands.90's mahendi songs were being played by the DJ, everyone was enjoying the ceremony except for the bride herself,her face was devoid of any smile.
"Ae Haseena kya hua hain re tujhe...mahendi hain aaj teri aur chahere pe muskurahat ki ek laaker bhi nahi."Ammi chided her seeing her dull face.
"Nahi Ammi aisa kuch nahi hain...bas itni der se baithe huye hain na toh haath dukh rahe hain humare."Haseena said with a fake smile.
"Woh toh hoga hi na beta...tujhe pyas lagi hain(Haseena nodded),ruk ja hum Kashish k haathon nimboo paani bhijwate hain."Ammi said and left in Jiffy.
Haseena sighed and her mind went back to her conversation,better say argument that she had with Anubhav two days ago before travelling to Udaipur

"Anubhav aap humein batayenge ki aapki problem kya hain?"Haseena asked angrily.
"Kya matlab hain tumhara?"Anubhav asked annoyed putting his mobile aside.
"Agle 2 mein humdono ki shaadi k functions shuru ho jayenge aur aapko toh koi interest hi nahi hain!"Haseena complained.
"Toh kya kare hum..venue book kardiya humne,tickets book kar diye...what else can I do Haseena?!"
"Matlab itne mein hi ho gaya bas?!(stunned)Designer k paas humdono k outfits lene hum gaye,ek trial tak nahi kiya aapne..Panditji se aunty ne baat ki, decoration ka Abhi aur Kashi dekh rahe hain...overall arrangements hum aur Ms.Amorin.Aapko toh jaise koi interest hi nahi hain."
"Nahi hain humare paas innsab k liye waqt...humne kaha tha ek hafte mein shaadi ki date fix karne k liye...tumne bhi bina soche samjhe maa ki haan mein haan mila diya...toh abb sabkuch khud hi sort Karo."Anubhav said angrily and left the room leaving Haseena stunned.

Haseena's POV.....
"Kahi aisa toh nahi ki Anubhav ki marzi nahi hain iss shaadi mein,par unhone khud propose kiya tha hume...shayad impulsive decision ho woh unka aur abhi regret karrahe ho(she gulped the lump forming in her throat)..nahi nahi Anubhav bohot pyar karte hain humse...par ho kya gaya hain unhe...aaj mahendi hain aur subha se nahi dikhe hain woh.Hey bhagwan humein kuch samajh nahi aaraha."
Her trance was broken by Kashish's chirpy voice.
"Yaar Hasi kya mast bani hain teri mahendi..."Kashish said sitting beside her and helped her drinking the lemon water.
"Thank You."Haseena said with a fake smile.
