We were all startled after hearing about his dream. I could sense utter realism in his speech.

‘Whoa! What the hell was that?’, Bob said.

‘I don’t know but I could feel every sense as if it were real’, replied Larry.

‘So, you don’t remember throwing me off the first floor and thus causing my arm to break in the process?’. I glared at Larry saying those words.

‘Nope man, I swear. I am sorry for whatever I have done though I don’t remember a single thing’, Larry said with both concern and repentance.

‘Well well! Finally we have got the culprit and the case must be closed now’, cried Bob suddenly.

‘Now I guess Bob and I should leave. You are in charge Mr. Hall’, said Fred.
‘Hmm…. Let’s get going’

With this Bob and Fred rose up, took their brollies and left. There was a light mizzle outside. I sat down there beside Larry on the bed and stared at him closely. I still could not believe what had happened with me the other night. Moreover, it was Larry who had almost killed me. I had known him for years but he had never pinched me even.

‘Wha-what happened? You still angry at me?’

‘Not angry but confused, and yeah, shocked!’

‘Brother, I really don’t remember anything…Urgh, my head is paining like-’, he could not complete and lay down holding his head in pain.

‘And what a damn smell it is!’, he said with a stinking face.

‘What? I cannot smell something like stinking’

‘Oh God. I am having such type of smell since waking up.’

‘What kind of smell?’

‘It’s like-it’s-like- that of something rotting or decomposing fast!…. Oh my God! I can’t bear it!’

This gave me a stinky face too. ‘Argh, in that case that must be because of some kind of sickness. Go get some sleep.’

After groaning several times, he finally slipped into his slumber.
