I just put on a random hoodie and ran downstairs, I collided with my aunt, my eyes streaming down tears.
"Lotus, What happened." I let out a shaky breath and fat tears rolling down my face.
"Mal. Was I.nn an acc..I dent and they don't know if he'll make it aunty." She paled and led me to the living room, where she grabbed her keys and coat wearing under her night clothes.
"What's the name of the hospital Lotus."
"Living water hospital." I sat down, praying to God to save Malvolio, he was a pure soul one that I couldn't live without, one that I cared so much about. Don't die on Me Malvolio sandaval.

It was in the midnight, so It didn't take long for us to get to the hospital, I dashed out before my aunt could park and ran inside the hospital when I saw keiran.
"Keiran, what happened." I asked hugging him.
"A drunk driver crashed into his car, while they were driving."
"They, what do you mean by they, Malvolio wasn't alone."
My aunt put a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"He was with his Sol" more tears ran down my eyes.
"How is she, " by the look in his eyes, I know that it was good news.
"She didn't make it." My loud wailing mixed with Sol's mother's who was mourning the death of her only child, who didn't make it.
"What of Malvolio," I was scared to ask but I wanted him to fight, we had many plans together.
"He's in the ICU, he'll undergo his second surgery in the morning, they say he has a slim chance of making it and even if he does, he'll be on life support."
Malvolio parents rushed in, beautiful Spanish people with pure hearts just like their son even though they had made so many mistakes concerning their only child they loved him.
"Where's my son, lotus, what happened to him." Keiran told me the same thing he told me a couple minutes ago. Mrs sandval slumped on the chair and begun crying.
"This is my fault Aurelio" I gasped "if I hadn't been bugging him to bring his girlfriend home this wouldn't have happened, I killed Sol." She continued to wail clutching her heart, the wail of a mother bounced of the walls of the hospital creating a pang in my chest.
"Ximena it is not your fault" her husband consoled her.

It was dawn when Malvolio was wheeled in for his second surgery, we all sat there waiting patiently, my Aunt had gone home for a change of clothes, it was almost like I could feel the Angel of death roaming these halls. My phone rang out and I saw it was Ivan calling me.
"Hey." My voice was strained and weak
"What's wrong Lotus." I broke down in sobs and filled him in on what happened. He made sure he didn't end the call whilst he drove to the hospital, he let me cry while he drove over and when he arrived, I hugged him some more, crying more In his chest.
"MALVOLIO will be alright Lotus, he just has to be." The look on his face was grim, I think we all lost hope at a point, preparing ourselves for the worst.

After six hours, just drinking questionable amounts of coffee while waiting for someone or something to happen. Keiran and I were asleep when we heard the loud voice of the doctor yelling for the crash cart, panic overtook everyone's features and when we heard the flatlinning sound. We knew Malvolio had passed on. The doctor gave us the news that my best friend was no more.
MALVOLIO SANDAVAL HAD LOST HIS LIFE.
