Melted ice cream in my soul
Drops of cotton candy kisses on my skin
Flutter the frosting off my lashes
It dances down my cakes up skin
Waiting for the rains to come
To wash away my Sweet Tart tears
And return again after all your fears.

Swimming in this rainbow paradise
Silenced only by nature's night sky
The lights above feel so superficial, artificial, and unclean.
They haven't been touched by me
Knowing they are all they could have been.
I glow like luminescent snow
The world used me as their canvas
One look and you know my parents
Adam and Eve and lots of TLC.

There's always a price for what I've seen.
But now I'm doused in water
The sparks finally burned out
You got what you wished for
Even if you hoped this wish wouldn't come true.
Dissolving, falling, slipping away
My only mourners are the clouds today.
