Voices of angels sing down on us
An eighties queen and a new millennium star
Who am I to challenge who we are?
Battling it out in a duel for best artist
But break them down and they're simply telling their truths
One appeals to you, the other to me.
Their connection shows what is supposed to be.
Grab his hammer; get him enraged
A battle between them is center stage
While some of us enjoy the journey more than the destination.
The gods support one, and science, the other.
But they stand together against greater evil.
I like them more when they save solo, you like the team effort.
The conflicts fought together, we always made it work.
A flawed man, that's for sure.
But everyone's perfectly imperfect for someone. That's what you were for me.
The comic relief in a world of dinosaurs
Geena's man for a while, but not now.
But we loved him so, just the same.
Like their love, ours was a beautiful illusion.
I guess it's better we didn't try than have all the confusion.
