                               Onyx's POV
"At the times..I thought it was."

"My family...means more to me than, a bloody reputation. I've had shit said about me. I stayed. I faced it all. I could've ran. But...I chose to stay. I cannot believe I just heard you say that. H-how old are you?"

"24."

I pinched my nose bridge.

"I-I messed up! I-I know! I-I still love them!"

"Do you though? Do you really?"

"Yes!"

"Someone, who loves their family, wouldn't fucking leave in the middle of the night. Unfuckingbelievable. No wonder...I've never heard anything about you. You're supposed to protect them...you're supposed to help when, they're being bullied. You're supposed to be the one to, chase off love interests. You're supposed to be the one to hold them...while they're crying over a breakup. You're ridiculous. You really are. Why the hell, did you show up here?"

"I wanna make things right!"

"You had time to make things right. You had so much time."

"She doesn't look that upset. She must not hate me."

I looked over his shoulder. I saw Primrose sitting at the top of the stairs.

She looks so...broken.

"Do you think...there's a way for me to fix this?"

"I've got no idea. I guess....come back?"

"I-I am. I moved back, a couple weeks ago?"

"If I find out you hurt her or Elise, you'll be in a casket with maggots in your head."

His eyes widened as he gulped.

"H-how have they been?"

"Fine. Perfectly fine."

"H-how long have you been with her?"

"Almost three years."

"Thank you for taking care of her."

"I-I'm having a hard time, wrapping my head around this still."

I heard someone running. I saw Marionette running down the stairs.

"Do not run!"

She stopped when she got in front of me. Marionette kicked Milo.

"Hey! What was that for?!"

"She's mad at you."

"Why?! She doesn't even know me!"

"You upset and pissed off Prim."

Marionette kept kicking Milo.

"Oh would you stop that?!"

She didn't listen.

"Dude tell your kid to leave me alone!"

"Nah. You'd prefer her to hit you then, me."

Marionette jumped onto his feet. I started laughing.

"You guys suck!"

I saw Primrose walking towards me. She didn't say anything. She just started hugging me.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't feel good."

"Hey look at me."

She put her chin on my chest.

"What do you mean?"

"My chest feels tight."

I moved hair out of her face. I tucked it behind her ear.

"I think, you're overwhelmed. Is that the only issue?"

"No."

I kissed her forehead.

"What's the problem?"

She shrugged.

"You don't know? That's weird. You normally know. You do seem a little pale. You seemed fine earlier."

This is odd.

I put the back of my hand on her head.

"Huh. You don't have a fever. Have you been drinking enough?"

She nodded. A tear slid down her face. I wiped it away.

"C-can we talk?"

Oh no.

"We'll be right back."

Primrose grabbed my hand. We went into the kitchen.

"What's wrong?"

"I-I'm feeling so many things right now. I-I'm pissed. I-I'm upset. I'm overwhelmed."

"You've got every right to be."

"I wanna punch him. I really, really wanna."

"He does have a punchable face. You did hit him good."
