SHRUTI'S P.O.V

I found Naina in our cafeteria with a bunch of people. Probably Manasi's friends from army. We were hanging out together in our lunch hour. Sameer's crazy idea, I know. Who hangs at lunch hour? We could meet after work for drinks or something.

But wait a second, what or specifically whom do I see? Is that Anurag Kanitkar? Is he a friend of Manasi?

I reached them with a tray of coffees. Sameer had said how many people were coming. When I reached, everyone turned to look at me. I'm sure Naina must have said something stupid for my introduction.

"Hi guys!! I'm Shruti." I smiled at everyone.

"Hey Shruti how are you?" Manasi came to hug .

"I'm good. You tell me? Enjoying holiday?" Manasi is really a sweet girl, Sameer is a lucky guy.

"Yes! Very much. Life at Army cantonment gets pretty rough sometimes. We need times like this to relax."

"I can understand. Well, who are all these guys?"

"Oh how can I forget to introduce myself to such a beautiful lady. I should say the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I'm Gautam." One guy with olive pants and white shirt butted in.

"Are you sure you are in the army? Because from where I see you should be in escort service Gautam!" I said.

Everyone burst out in laughter.

"Why are you girls so smart?" He huffed.

"Because you see we are in the Intelligence department. And just overall girls are smarter than boys."
Naina chirped.

"Okay so you mean to say..........." Gautam was stopped by another guy.

"Hi I'm Akshay. It's nice to meet you Shruti."

"Hello Akshay. Likewise." I nodded. He seemed a more reserved, polite shy type guy.

Then comes my hero! Did i just say my hero? Shruti you have gone real nuts.

"Hi Shruti, I'm Anurag. I assume you know me already." He stated cheekily.

I smiled with a smirk, "I think I do."

"How do you know each other?" Gautam asked.

"You really are a crack head Gautam. Everyone here knows her even Alshay. Were you sleeping when I told I went to meet a girl for marriage?" Anurag hit Gautam's head.
