" Sounds good. "

" BY ASLAN'S MANE, you are way too soft for this! "

" I was the one entitled The Just, wasn't I? "

Olivia and Edmund argued at the library because of the boy's previous decision on letting a dwarf stay behind bars for 7 years, when Olivia argued it should have been 15 years behind bars.

" Yes, you were. But stealing is a crime! And a big one! " - Argued Olivia, looking at Edmund as he grabbed a book on the top shelf.

" Yes, but it was a small item that he stole and he came forward confessing, didn't he? " - Edmund had his eyes on the girl staring at him.

" Yes, but I still defend my point. " - She crossed her arms. Edmund got the book in his hand, and smirked, turning his body to face her. The book in his hand was brown, and on the cover, it read 'the deep magic'.

" Well, agree to disagree. " - He said, earning a glare as he passed by Olivia.

" Fine. " - She scoffed, heading for another shelf, looking for another action book to distract herself. Edmund sat down on the table up the spiral staircase of the library, the sun shining through the window, highlighting his beautiful facial traits. Olivia felt herself getting flushed, and she quickly grabbed her book and left the library.

She left on heavy steps, like a little toddler when they didn't get the toy they wanted for Christmas. Olivia was as stubborn as a rock, and a little bit spoiled too. Quite the combination, but nevertheless, her flaws only shaped her into a better queen. She didn't know if she was mad at Edmund's decision, or because she caught herself blushing because she found the Pevensie boy attractive.

" Olivia! Olivia! " - She heard Lucy's voice, calling out for her and taking Olivia's mind off Edmund. Lucy came running in the hallway, she stopped for a second, regaining her breath, before standing up straight.

" Two things. First, Peter's calling you on the map room, he says it is urgent. And secondly, Susan said that you should meet her after the little reunion with him. " - she said, smiling.

" Will do, thank you Lu. "

After Lucy left, Olivia mentally cursed and grumbled something about not having enough time for herself.

The map room was a big room that looked like a library, only bigger. It had a table fit for 12 people in the middle, while the extensive walls were covered with books on history and geography. On the left wall, what took a highlight was the giant map of Narnia and the nearby kingdoms. Olivia knocked on the big wooden door, and she heard a ' Come in. ' in Peter's voice.

" You called? "

" Yeah. Come and check this out. " - Peter gestured with his hand towards the map on the table. She went there and stood by his right side, questioning what was wrong with that map.

" Okay, what's wrong? " - She asked.

" I've just received information on a possible war between the kingdom of Garnoff and the kingdom of Calamari." - He said, looking at the youngest by his side, rushing through his words.

" Have we been called to a side? " - She asked, facing Peter.

" No, but the one who wants to attack is the king of Garnoff, and his strength is an army by land. To get to Calamari, his troops would have to pass by Narnia, because his piece of territory doesn't face directly theirs. We would be caught up in the middle of a battle. "

" Okay. Proceed. " - Olivia took in a piece of information at a time, nodding at each word.

" Garnoff's troops could cause mass havoc with the Narnians, especially with the fauns. And the king has already asked permission to pass through the land, and it is pending. "

" Have a plan? Because if we allow Garnoff's troops to pass, we will be on bad terms with Calamari, but they are great producers of beans and our number one supplier. If we don't allow Garnoff's troops, we may enter a diplomatic issue too, because they supply a great part of our weaponry. "

" Well, my plan A is to convince the two kings to not enter a conflict during Susan's ball in two days. "

" You're finally coming to a ball! " - Cheered Olivia.

" Yes, " - chuckled Peter - " but let me continue, jokes aside. My plan B is to side with Calamari, because Narnia is very independent if we are talking about weaponry, their supply is very insignificant. And secondly, they financially depend on our rice supply, they wouldn't simply cut out diplomatic relations. "

" You have a point. But if we are trying to avoid conflict to ourselves, we should side with Garnoff. You know that their army is big in numbers, bigger than ours, and their king is not one to forgive. " - Olivia pointed out.

" What do you suggest? " - Peter leaned his left arm on the table, turning his body to the side and facing Olivia.

" I suggest we try the diplomatic solution first. If that doesn't work, we'll have to call a meeting with the representatives of a few Narnians, such as Oreius and Marlin the horse. I would include Lucy and Susan in the meeting too, because they are both very diplomatic, and they will probably see an option that we are not able to visualise. " - Stated Olivia wisely. She always had a good idea for a battle solution, and Peter always loved her ideas.

" Well, that settles it. " - Peter clapped his hands together, satisfied. - " But Edmund will also be at the meeting. "

" Yes, yes. Him too. " - Olivia waved her hand, dismissing the saying.

" Put your pettiness aside, this is a serious topic. After the ball, my siblings will be informed. " - Stated the Pevensie.

" Sounds good. "

—-🗡️—-

Olivia left the room after a bit of boring conversation, and followed to the wing of the bedrooms to meet up with Susan, and what was her wish to speak off.

She arrived, and saw Lucy and Susan at the closet section of the room, ( which was so big, that inside each room, there were five separate rooms ) experimenting dresses and jewellery.

" You're late. " - Taunted Lucy, smiling and putting her hands on her hips, making Olivia and Susan laugh.

" I was solving boring diplomatic issues. Want to hear? " - Olivia smirked.

" Definitely not. " - Said Lucy, making Olivia and Susan laugh even more.

" Well, are you both experimenting outfits for the ball? " - Asked Olivia.

" Of course, and we want you to join us. " - Said Susan, grabbing two dresses from a closet, one violet and the other one yellow.

" Count me in! " - Olivia exclaimed, grabbing both dresses and running towards the bathroom.

The girls had a great afternoon, laughing and playing when they put an exaggerated amount of jewels. They did a small runaway, and Olivia's stomach was hurting from laughing too much. Lucy and Susan, by sunset, had already chosen their dress. Olivia was experimenting the last one, and she looked at herself on the big full-bodied mirror that belonged to Susan and exclaimed:

" This is the one! "
