Sad Emily. Happy Emily

Emily's POV

I arrived at Paige's house and rushed into her house with out knocking. which is totally rude but she's my girlfriend I do what I want.

well she won't be my girlfriend for long.

"Paige?"

"Hey baby what did you want to talk about?" She asked giving me a kiss

"I think you should sit down for this" I said trying to make her as calm as possible. we sat down at the couch and I put my hands on top of hers

"I think we need a break" I said while tears filled my eyes. I can't believe I'm doing this to her. I'm hurting her, just like how Alison hurt me. I hated that feeling. but this needs to be done

"What? I don't understand? I thought we were fine?"

"We are. this is not about you at all. my feelings are really fucked up right now and I need time to process"

"It's Alison isn't it?"

"Why would you think that?"

"Because ever since she got back you've been distant lately. everyday after swimming practice you're always with her. and you kissed her" she said while she pulled away her hands away from mine

"Maybe it's because she's been gone for 2 years. and I missed her. and I also wanna hang out with her. have you ever that about it that way?"

"Oh come one Emily. she's your first love. your first kiss. And I see the way you look at her." She knew i loved her before i even realized it myself.

"I'm so sorry"

"Yeah well so am I"

"For what?"

"For this" she grabbed my face kissed me. of course I didn't kiss back. I was breaking up with the girl. when I eventually had the strength to pull back.

"Please don't make this harder than it already is"

"If it's hard the. Why do it? You just need to give me another chance Emily. please. Alison doesnt love you. once a bitch always a bitch" I slapped her across the face leaving a red hand mark on her face.

"I'm sorry Paige. But we need a break"

I ran out of her house so fast that I basically flew. its weird I actually feel happy. I know it's wrong. but I feel so free.

Alison's POV

I don't know what's happening to me. am I really falling for autumn? Or is it because she's a lot like Emily? I don't even know why I agreed to the date. I guess I was lonely. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing

"Hello?"

"Hey Ali can we meet?" It was Emily

"I don't know I'm kinda tired"

"Oh come on please?" She pleaded

"Okay. meet at my house in 5"

"Too late I'm already here" my bedroom suddenly opened and it was Emily with the biggest smile on her face

"How did you get In" I asked pulling my eyebrows together

"You left your door unlocked. you know just because 🅰 is gone, doesn't mean you don't have to lock your doors" she chuckled

"So, what do you want?"

"Damn Dilaurentis. what's got you so salty?"

"You. you literally ditched me for Paige" I rolled my eyes

"That's what I wanna talk about. I broke up with Paige"

"What the hell fields i worked so hard to get you to back together and you just dump her?" I yelled

"Shut up Ali you didn't even do anything" she playfully punched my arm

"Touché" I looked down at her

"And technically we didn't really break up we just took a break I needed to think things through"

"What things?" I crunched my eyebrows

"About us" she held my hand

Us? What is she talking about?

"What do you mean?" I looked down to the floor

"Ali I haven't really been honest with you. yes. I love Paige. but Alison I'm in love with you. there's a big difference"

Woah Emily just called me 'Alison' she never calls me that unless she's mad, frustrated, annoyed, serious, etc etc. and tbh I wasn't even paying attention to what she's saying. not because I don't want to. because I can barely keep myself awake right now.

"Emily, I can't do this right now okay? I'm really tired and I don't feel like talking about this. can you please go?" I pulled my hands away and she has this confused look on her face.

"But Alison, Im in love with you. don't you get it? All of this is for you"

"We'll talk about it next time, but right now I'm really tired so can you please go?" As I pushed her towards the door

"What's got you all tired?"

"Well after you ditched me. I called autumn and hung out with her. she spilled water on me and I got mad so I chased her. blah blah blah. when I finally pinned to the ground we were staring at each other. blah blah blah. long story, short I ran a lot"

"You kissed her didn't you?"

"Why do you care?"

"I-I thought you were in love with me?" She started to tear up

"Em, I'm really tired. please. can you go?"

"I understand" she left my house with out another word.

If im gonna be honest I feel like a dick right now. I basically kicked Em out of the house right after she told me she's in love with me. My god. Emily is in love with me.
