Better For Everyone

(Emily's POV)

I walked in Hanna's house with out even knocking. A went to her kitchen making myself coffee so I'm atleast a little bit sobered up when Momma Marin comes home. After I finished making coffee i sat down on a stool and waited for Hanna to come down. A couple seconds later i hear running coming down the stairs.

(Hanna's POV)

"I am gonna kill you, you know that"

"But you're not because you love me" She took a sip from my coffee

"You're lucky you're my best friend" i hit her

"Why are you doing this to yourself" I asked sincerely

"She's playing me again"

"Doesnt mean you drink your life away!"

"I care too much, and she took advantage of that. When I'm drunk i dont feel anything, which causes me not to care" Emily explains. And i stayed quiet.

"I got some coffee by the way"

"Go ahead, its better that you need to sober up or my mom will kill you"

"Where is momma Marin?"

"She's on a dinner date with Ted"

"The preacher?" She raised an eyebrow

"YEs the preacher, now sober up"

"I dont want to drink coffee anymore" Emily whines. I looked down on her cup and she barely drank it.

"Come on Emily you need to sober up" I picked up the mug and placed it on her mouth but she pushes it away.

"Fine then lets get you to bed" I grabbed her arm and put it around my shoulder. Once we reached my bedroom i threw her on the bed and put the covers on her.

"Thanks Hanna I really needed you" She smiled with her eyes closed she's obviously not sober

"I need to call Alison" She sat up and started dialing Alison's number, But before she could press 'call' i took her phone away.

"Friends dont let friends drunk dial. Trust me you're gonna thank me for this later" She laid down once more on the bed.

"You dont get it Hanna, she broke me" She whispers

"I know baby, I know" I kissed her forehead and left the room. After couple of hours i decided to call Cece

C- Any news about drunk Emily?

H- she's drinking her life away what do you think?

C- Its that bad?

H- She basically said that its better if she drinks, because apparently that way she doesnt feel pain

C- Yikes

H- Alchohol is the friend you think you need when your beaten down

C-Do you need my help?

H- NO she's asleep already. Hows our situation with Alison

C- She thinks cutting off Emily completely is better for everyone

H- What do you mean completely?

C- She wants to stop being friends with Emily

H- How exactly is she gonna do that?

C- I think she's gonna ignore her completely

H- FUCK NO. PUT HER ON THE PHONE

A- Yes?
