Astapor

One day before Daenerys arrives

Davion had finished burying Takmet. He looked at Takmets collar and threw it in the fire. A guard escorted Davion to his new quarters, it was bigger than the normal slave quarters and I still had a cage.

"I'd like to train." Davion said.

"The master insists that you get some rest." The guard said and closed the gate.

Davion was in his quarters for hours and it felt as if he was going mad. He walked around and scratched his hair.

He had killed a good man, a man who meant something to him. He thought about what Takmet said about seeing him in the North and on the throne. Davion didn't want to the throne, not after everything that's happened. Night had fallen and the guard opened Davions gate.

"The master wishes to see you in the palace." The guard said.

"I don't understand, slaves aren't allowed in the palace." Davion pointed out.

"Champions are." Was all the guard said as he put the chains in Davions wrists and Davion walked with him.

When Davion arrived in the palace he saw how the masters were dining. Some were eating, some were talking and some were watching slaves have sex and some were joining the slaves having sex.

"Here he is!" Kraznys mo Nakloz announced and everyone was silent. "The Raging Storm, the man who defeated Balthazar. The man who made the gods weep to his fury as rain poured in Astapor."

"Indeed." Razdal mo Eraz said.

"Have you ever seen such a man." Illiyana said and rushed to Davion as she was accompanied by her guards. When she approached Davion she immediately touched his chest. He's so strong and his heart beats like that of a wild animal.

"I see you've taught him to speak when spoken to." Razdal said recalling how Davion begged and fought when his wife raped him.

"It took time, but I've tamed the beast." Kraznys said.

"Good, I'd like to have a demonstration of his obedience. Unchain him." Razdal looked at the orgy happening in front of him. "Clear the area!"

Once the area was cleared. Kraznys told Davion to stand there. All the slave masters, men and woman stared at him with lust and Illiyana felt her jealousy rising. Davion was given two wooden swords.

"Which slave would you like the champion of Astapor to spar with on this day?" Kraznys asked.

"No slave." Razadal said and noded at his guard. Kraznys was surprised and saw the guard unsheath his sword.

"The Raging Storm wields practice swords," Kraznys pointed out. "I fear he is at a disadvantage."

"If he's truly the champion of Astapor, he'll get out of that disadvantage." Razdal said.

"How exciting." Illiyana giggled.

He looked at Davion and his soldier. "Begin!"
The soldier attacked Davion, but he was easily defeated as Davion dodged every single one of his slashed and managed to hit him with his wooden sword on the soldiers face, stomach and back. The soldier then fell down. Razdal then held up two fingers signaling that two of his men are to fight Davion.
