Kartik's POV

There is something seriously wrong with my brother. There is an imposter in his stead right before me. I can confirm it, if someone asked me for proof I'll have a list ready for them, with the reason in top being:

My brother doesn't have eyes that look like that. I may get dizzy (due to nausea) if I look into his eyes. He has hearts in them, literally.

Ever seen that emoji with hearts in place of eyes, yup exactly that. That's how he is looking right now. And the one he's looking at, she's not even paying attention to him. I mean all her attention is on the file at the table.

I'll have to applaud her, I mean seriously, she might as well be the only girl I've seen who hasn't looked at my brother twice and when I tell you my brother is something to look at, believe me. Cuz I've been jealous the entirety of my life, he might've not gotten the brains from mum and dad, as obviously they went to me, but he took all the looks in our family. Hmph.

I didn't see the child today so I can assume he's not here because from what I saw a few days ago, my brother would've been playing with him if he had.

Mum was ecstatic when she saw the picture but a second later she was angry at how bhai kept his child out for so long. I had to convince her that it wasn't the case. I might've been a bit hasty when I sent her the picture but what can I say, I wasn't going to be the only one shocked at that sight.

My mum's happiness took a pause when I told her that the child is of a business partner, and yeah I know that cuz I snooped around at bhai's desk. I couldn't like search for the child on google when I had zero clue who he was other than the fact that he was a damn good artist. But I don't think Google keeps a track of two year old artists.

So yeah I had to look into bhai's desk, that man has information about everyone he meets and colour me surprised when I found not only the child and even the mother kept in a very private folder.

I've heard of Prisha Agnihotri and just because of the deal but also due to what happened three years ago. It was pretty big deal, I had seen her standing up for her child outside that clinic. I hate media, I really do, especially when they don't know when to stop, when they don't know where the line is, the line that even they shouldn't cross.

So seeing her putting them in their place was good, but….. That's not the point here, the point is that she has managed to catch my brother's attention. And don't even ask me how I know, anyone within a five mile perimeter could look at him and come to the same conclusion. It's that obvious. He's enamoured.

I mean there's no doubt, he looks completely bewitched. I don't even want to remember the number of times I've found him smiling to himself and it's creepy af.

When I told mom the news or what she calls a daily update she got excited and asked me to keep an eye on them. So that's what I'm doing. But from the looks of it, it's only my brother who's in love, she looks like she's here only for business and maybe that's the truth.
