Words of the Queen

"It happened... again" I said almost whispering when I woke up the second day. Silence of the room greeted me, I roamed around and saw no one rather I saw my black gumiho beside me looking at me intently. I caressed its back then gave him a little smile.

"How are you kin?" isang ungol lang ang sinagot niya tsaka idinikit ang isang paa nito sa kamay ko na parang sinasabing ayos lang siya.

Nang nilibot ko na ang paningin ko ay napansin ko ring nasa loob ako ng kwarto ni zeke dito sa kaharian. I saw a wooden tray containing a soup and a semi like bread food with delicious toppings on top.

'I made it, eat this for you to gain more energy' I read silently then my lips curled up when I saw zeke's name, that means he is the one who made it.

I ate then fixed myself before I decided to find him. May ilan akong nakasalubong na mga tagapaglingkod nila, ang iba sa kanila ay hindi alam ang gagawin meron ring dededmahin na lang ako.

Nalibot ko na ata ang buong kaharian nila pero hindi ko man lang siya nahanap at pasalamat na rin ako dahil maski ang hari at reyna ay hindi ko pa nakikita. Napakibit balikat na lang ako at napagpasiyang pumunta sa balcony nila kung saan ako nawalan ng malay kahapon.

Pakiramdam ko ay unti unti na akong nasasanay sa pabigla biglang nangyayari sa akin gaya ng nangyari kahapon, isang hindi inaasahan. Minsan ay makukuryente na lang ako bigla at minsan naman ay parang sinusunog ang katawan ko. I wonder what's next.

Mabilis akong napatakbo sa balcony ng may naramdaman akong kakaiba at parang ganun rin si kin na iniwan ko lang sa kwarto kanina ay nandito na at bigla biglang tumalon papunta sa kanang balikat ko. Natigil naman sina zeke sa paglalaban ng makita ako. Her mom signed me to come down with a gentle gesture so I did with a smirk. I climbed up to the balcony and without any second thought, I jumped. I even saw how zeke's expression change when he saw what I am doing.

"Are you crazy or just nuts?" rinig kong sabi ni zeke ng makalapag ako.

"Nice greet," nakangiting sabi ko with a sarcastic voice, "Anyway, thanks sa breakfast" and there, I saw his face lit up.

He was about to speak when two boomerang with a spikes came to us made up jump in opposite side and I even bend when it reached me. I looked at her mother who did it while I heard zeke groaned.

"Mom!"

"Come on son, you and your girl against me and your mom, how was that? This could be also a training for the both of you!" his father shouted who was also smirking like his wife.

"What's this?" I asked curiously.

"It's the second day of festival, so traditionally, the princes and princesses of each castle were having a battle later--" his words were cut off when I immediately throw a two energy ball to prevent a fire ball came from his father.

"Let's finish this first" Oh well, I haven't been into a fight this past few months and the last was my fight with zeke, I think this thing would help me too.

"Woah! smart move little girl" the queen said then in just a split second, naglabas siya ng isang latigo at mabilis na winasiwas sa pwesto ko, but then I am smarter than that. To make her move more interesting, naglabas din ako ng isang latigo na gawa naman sa mga vines.

But before we both made our move, a sound of whistle came from I dom't know that made us stop. Mabilis na inabutan ng mga tagapaglingkod nila ang hari at reyna ng tubig at pamunas, at sumunod ay kami naman ni zeke.

"Hudyat na isang oras na lang ang natitira bago magumpisa ang labanan" napatingin ako kay zeke na umiinom ng tubig. "Come one, let's prepare" sabay hila sakin, I just gave the king and queen a slight bow with a smile para hindi nakakahiya habang si zeke ay dere deretso lang na naglakad at hindi pinansin ang magulang niya.

"Just stay here and wait for the maid to brought here your clothes" sabi niya na ipinagtaka ko, saan naman kaya niya nakuha ang mga gamit ko. But then it was answered when he spoke again, "Mom asked one of the servant to buy you a clothes last night when she found out that I brought you here, except that you passed out"

He gave me a light hug and a kiss in my forehead before he leave me standing like an idiot. I am getting used to his gestures. But it wasn't that long when their two maids arrived with my clothes and a box. They bowed to me before they leave that made me feel awkward.

I decided to open first the box, and it was a cool black combat boots that I think it almost reached my knees. I checked my clothes and it wasn't a casual one, it is also for a battle. Isang white top spagetti strap then a black like combat chaleco then a brown short.

Overall, it's all cool. And it was proven ng maisuot ko na lahat mula sa damit hanggang sa boots. I checked my reflection, and I was like Katness Evergreen in the movie titled hunger games which I watched when I was in the mortal world.

I looked at my hair then release a deep sigh. I removed my wig, it took me almost ten minutes because of how tight I put it just to secure it won't fall especially when I am in a battle like what happened awhile ago.

I braid my hair on my own, it was a little messy but I find it hot for my taste add the fact that my hair was a weird one especially its color. I looked at kin who was quite staring at me, I smile then his tail wailed up as if giving me an approve sign for my outfit like he liked it too.

Now I am starting to wonder if what's this thing for, mapapalaban rin ba ako mamaya. My thoughts washed out when I heard someone's voice.

"You"re beautiful!" mabilis akong napalingon ng marinig ko ang reyna na nakatingin sa akin. Amusement was written allover her face.

"Wait, what?" takang tanong ko. Lumapit siya sa akin at hinaplos ang buhok ko, and there I remembered my hair. "I know its weird" maagap na sabi ko at namumula na ang pisngi ko sa kahihiyan. Yeah, I am not proud of my hair.

"Is your hair a natural one?" she asked with curiousity, but she didn't let me answered. "I know someone who also have this kind of hair, in fact she's also beautiful as you" she said sincerly while caressing my hair.

"I bet she's more beautiful" I said almost whispering.

"You both are, sooner or later, this will turn to a gold" she said talking about my hair. "Your identity is totally big mysterious not only for me but for the whole royalty family"

"Wala naman po kayong dapat ipangamba sa akin dahil wala naman akong kayang gawin sa mga nakatataas at malalakas na gaya nyo." mahinang sabi ko.

"Don't underestimate yourself, dahil may kakilala akong kagayang kagaya ng pagkatao mo at sa huli ay nakain niya ang mga sinabi niya at siya ang naging pinakamalakas sa aming lahat" mahinhing sabi niya at binigyan ng isang damping halik ang pisngi ko na parang ako ang anak niya.

"Anyway, kasama ka sa lalaban" nakangiting sabi niya, "Zeke didn't agreed but he was left with no choice. You will know your oponent when you get there" sabi niya at iniwan ako.

I muttered a thank you and gave her a smile. She even said that I should take off my wig because she doesn't like it. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako, I guess I won't wear my wig today.

Isang boring na chapter for me, but hey, I won't write it if it wasn't a part of the plot. Bwelo muna bago ang isang very exciting action na chapter.
