Homecoming Date?

Ethan's Pov

I watch her walk away, the way she's bouncing down each stair just makes me want take her right here. I want her to know how much I really love and care about her.

I walk downstairs after a bit and as I'm walking to my locker I see Cam.

"Just the sister I wanted to see" I say smiling at her. She knows I want something.

"What do you want?" She reluctantly asks. She looks at me weirdly and I just start laughing

"I need your help" I reply

3 Weeks Later

It's Homecoming week at the school, and I know for a fact that no-one has asked Arielle yet, Cam is helping me by keeping tabs and she's helped me come up with the perfect idea on how to ask her. Ari rides to school with Cam today, I tell her that I have to do do something before school so she would have to ride with Cam. I find out from a little birdie that we're in the court as prince and princess. It's the last day of spirit week, everyone is dressed up in cowboy/cowgirl attire.

When I see her at her locker I send her a text message that reads

good morning Ari, you are looking extra beautiful today

She looks behind her and sees me smiling at her, she waves at me and I wave back then she turns back to her locker and opens it. She shoves her books in her locker and we walk to first period.

Let my plan commence

Ari's Pov

Ethan and I arrive in our class and the teacher hands me a slip of paper as I walk to my seat i look at the slip 'WILL' is all that it says

'hmmm' I wonder. I look at Ethan as he is 'paying attention' in class.

The bell for second period rings, as me and ethan walk in talking and laughing the teacher looks at us and gives me another folded up slip of paper 'YOU' Ethan and I look at each other and he shrugs his shoulder.

'What is going on today?' I thought to myself

By the time we get to lunch I have a total of 5 pieces of paper. I think nothing of it and go to sit with E.

"Hey E" I say with a smile as I sit down, He's texting on his phone. Probably Cam, Lisa, or Gray

"Hey Ari" He says back looking up from his phone "So do you know what those little notes were about today?" He asks

"Not a clue" I say looking at him suspiciously. 'WILL YOU BE MY DATE' that is what the notes said when you put them all together. I was well aware that the homecoming dance was saturday and I knew Ethan and I was on the ballot for Homecoming Prince and Princess, the results were being announced in seventh period

After lunch it was time for my sixth period, ugh... math I hated it but at least I could pretend to listen like I do everyday. As I walk in the class my teacher hands me a slip of paper, I mentally sigh as I make my way to my desk. I plop myself in my seat and unfold the paper 'TO' I giggle and shoot a look at Ethan, I whisper "I think someone is asking me to homecoming" he looks at me and smirks "I wonder who it is"

The bell rings for seventh and once more the teacher hands me my final note, I open it right there and it says 'HOMECOMING?' I take my seat as my teacher starts to read off the list of the homecoming court... Ethan and I got prince and princess. I look to my right and he's not there. 'Where did he go? He walked in with me?' I ask myself

Class ended and I looked back down at the note to see there was an arrow pointing to the other side, I flip it over 'Love E' I let out a slight gasp. I walk out of class and head to my locker, I open it and little bits of confetti pops out, just then I hear a the faint vibration of my cell phone, I look at it 'Turn Around' I turn around slowly to see Ethan standing there with roses. I don't realize I'm crying until he wipes my tears away.

Ethan's Pov

I step up to her "So what do you say?" I ask her smiling

"Yes, of course I'll go to homecoming with you" She happily says

I hand Cam the roses and I kiss Ari passionately "I love you" I mumble against her lips

"I love you too" she says with a smile on her face. She looks up and sees Cam standing there "Did she help you with this?" she asks me

"Yes she did" I reply smiling "Thank you again Cam" I say hugging her as I take the flowers from her and gives them to Ari.

"Yeah, thanks Cam" Ari chimes in, hugging Cam

"No problem you two, I was happy to help" She says with a smile "Do you guys need a ride home?" she asks

"Yeah" We reply

We head home and I, for one, am happy about the way today turned out
