I woke up at 7am that morning to get ready. I look at my phone and to see that Ethan texted me
Ethan😁: Hey babygirl, Cam said she could take us tonight. Be ready by 5. I have a surprise for you afterwards.
Did he just call me babygirl? I know we told each other how we feel but we're not even dating.
Ari😃: Okay that's perfect. See you then.
I shook it off and got in the shower. I turned on my music and ironically enough shower by becky g came on
After 30 minutes
I get out the shower and throw on some clothes

I look at the time it's 9:15. Just then I hear the doorbell ringing, I run downstairs to see who it is, I open the door when I see Ethan's face
"Hey Ethan" I say with a smile as I hug him
"Hey Ari, wanna come over? Cam and my parents are gone and I really don't wanna be in the house by myself" He says kinda fast
He's acting nervous maybe he's nervous for tonight, I shrugged it off
"Calm down" I said while giggling "dude you're talking a million miles a minute breathe" I said placing my hands on his chest "Sure I'll come over" I say as I walk past him
Once we get to his house we walk in and sit down, I see my phone ringing so I pick it up, it's my classmate Josh
Ari: Hey Josh, what's up?
Josh: Nothing, what are you doing right now?
Ari: Hanging with Ethan.
Josh: Oh okay. Do you wanna go to homecoming with me?
Josh wasn't at school yesterday so he doesn't know Ethan asked me already. He's your average fuckboy. I don't wanna be caught up in that drama, especially on homecoming night.
Ari: I can't. Someone's asked me already.
Josh: I guess I should have asked you a few days ago.
Ari: Yeah I guess. Anyway I gotta go. I'll see you later.
I hang up and look back at Ethan
Ethan's Pov
Once Ari's off the phone, we steal a glance at each other which makes her laugh
"Who was on the phone, princess?" I ask quietly
"Josh" she responds
Josh... I hate Josh... He's always trying to get what I have but he doesn't want it till I have it... He wasn't even thinking about Ari til he found out I like her.
"Oh no" I chuckle "What did he want?" I know he asked her to homecoming, that's what he does.
"He asked me to homecoming" she responds
"Yeah, that's so typical of him" I chuckle
"Yeah I guess" she walks over to the couch and sits down
I walk over to join her "What do you want to watch?"
"I don't care" she responds as she lays her head on my shoulder
I turn on the TV and put on high school musical 3, she sung all the songs and I just sat there. She has an amazing voice.
Ari's Pov
Once the movie was over I looked at my phone and saw it was 2, I looked at Ethan, he looked so adorable when he was sleeping. I smiled, got up and made my way to the kitchen to make a sandwich.
After I made and ate the sandwich I feel a pair of arms drape around my waist.
"Ethan?"
"Hmm" He mumbles into my neck
"What are you doing?"
He lifts his head up "Nothing" He spins me around to face him "just looking at the most beautiful girl in the world"
I blush after he says that "You need to stop it Ethan Grant Dolan" I giggle
"What?" He looks at me intently
I walk to the sink to wash my plate "Yes, we told each other how we feel but we're not dating" I said matter-of-factly
"I was going to ask you this later, but since you won't let me compliment you, will you be my girlfriend?"
When he asks that I just stare at him for a few minutes
Did he just ask me to be his girlfriend???
I looked down before I looked back at him, he looked like he was about to vomit. I smiled at him and nodded my head "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend" He ran up and hugged me tightly and gave me quick little pecks on my lips. This is the best feeling ever.
After maybe 30 or so minutes Cam and Lisa walk in
"Hey you two" Lisa said cheerfully
"Hey mom" Ethan said from the couch
"Hey Lisa, Hey Cam" I say as I hug both of them
"So what are you guys up to?" Cam asked sitting next to me on the couch
Ethan and I look at each other, he grabs my hand and interlocks it with his
"Well it's about time" Lisa says from behind us
We all laugh and Ethan kisses my cheek
I look at the time, it's 3:00. I stand up "I have to go get ready for tonight"
Ethan gets up and walks me to the door "I'll see you later princess" we both lean in and kiss, it's magical.
"See you later babe" I say then I walk to my house
This is going to be an interesting night
